Just "No".

Shaker? Or Manichee?

(I'm always fascinated by this heresy stuff.)

Well, now that you've put it that way!

"I was pretty depressed as a teen from lack of sex, myself."

Really? Gosh, that's sad. It must get pretty when you're neither a male nor a female.

Mrs. Don-o has a way with vivid imagery.

True plus all these kids would be married and have kids already because they had to get married because they only lived until 40 or so. I still think that people should wait as long as possible because taking the plung. Hopefully until marriage which is getting longer and longer for people in terms of years. I am sure that 28 year old guys look at 22 year old married guys and say what they are having sex and I have to continue to wait. I don't know how much will power guys have. Girls might have more I don't know.

>>You think jerking off into somebody's mouth is the equivalent of making love, sweet love?<<

I assume that was a rhetorical question but just in case...
No.

I happen to like jungle beats, I may not like the lyrics, but a good beat is crucial to good music.

Any chance of turning the discussion in the direction of Barry White or at least less graphic?

Well, that sucks.

That's what everyone's been saying ... but it's actually funny, on this thread!

This thread reminds me of a very smart review that I read about those television shows, like the OC, One Tree Hill, etc. -- basically an adult obsession with teen sex and teen relationships.

Teens will figure it out, as they always have. Adults just muck it up...

"How about the fact that urges and curiousity involving sex are a normal part of being a human? "

Well, true. But there's a lot more --- even a certain modesty and personal reserve are a normal part of being human, particularly for females. In every century and in every culture.

Used to be at least that if you coupled, you could be a couple; if you mated, you had a mate. But now there's really very little "human" in it: neither love nor friendship, nor romance, nor courtship; no future, and very little "present."

The desire of a man for a woman, a woman for a man--- that "normal part of being human" --- was once a big deal. Marriages came from this: dynasties. Life and joy and literally generations of love.

Now you don't really have much to look forward to but, eventually, boredom; and gonorrhea of the throat.

I think the appeal is to the many adults who are stuck in adolescent-mode, when it comes to relationships.

Either that or they "peaked" in high school.

"Well, if you don't feel dirty after sex, you're just not doing it right... "

I DO try to abstain from personal insult, but that's really one of the stupidest things I've ever read.

Unless-- that's really your experience --- in which case, criminy, I'm so sorry for you.

Sorry about that. This portion of the thread came from my failure to understand a post by Tax-Chick.

Once I understood that Tax-Chick was talking about 12 year old girls being pressured into sex we lost the apparent disagreement - hopefully we all agree that's horrible and nothing like a mature loving adult relationship without regard to the graphic details.

Same thing, basically. If high school was the best time of a person's life ... then the rest of his life must have been unbelievably dreadful.
