DANIA BEACH, Fla. Several people close to Anna Nicole Smith were quick to speculate after her death that drugs were to blame. The medical examiner who performed an autopsy on her body, though, said it could take weeks to determine a cause of death.

This no doubt comes from the people who still insist the moon landings were faked and that Desert Storm was actually conducted at NTC.
ANS? Drugs? Go on, get outta here!
um, drugs?
After seeing a few episodes of her reality series, I don't think Anna was too worried about her reputation. From what I saw, Anna's life mostly involved her stumbling around and slurring while her handlers did their best to herd her to and from various appointments.
This has already turned into fodder for the tabloids.
For the coming decades, like Marilyn Monroe, was she murdered? Did she commit suicide? Was it accidental? Was it natural?
It will feed the tabloids for decades.
I know the crazy part is she wanted be so much like MM.
Derek: Well, uh, it's not a very pleasant story..but, uh,
David: She's passed on.
Derek: she died. uh...She choked on..the ac- the official explanation was She choked on vomit.
Nigel: It was actually, was actually someone else's vomit. It's not....
David: It's ugly.
Nigel: You know. There's no real....
Derek: You know they can't prove whose vomit it was...they don't have the facilities at Scotland Yard....
David: You can't print, there's no way to print a spectra-photograph
Nigel: You can't really dust for vomit.
I suspect the father. A lot of people who tried to get their hands on the money are dead. Of course, he only had to make drugs available to her, and she did the rest. But my suspicion is that the baby will be dead next.
This no doubt comes from the people who still insist the moon landings were faked and that Desert Storm was actually conducted at NTC.
Maybe the man on the grassy knoll is the father.
Well, this lends credence to an unnatural death. The toxicology reports can take up to six weeks. I'm certain it was some lethal combination of drugs.
Poor soul. She was a trainwreck.
Keep your eye on the true villain: Howard K. Stern.
Why would anyone admit sleeping with that used up skank?
It seems to always take "weeks" to find out what we already know.
The thing I find incredibly reckless, is the way the newshounds, primarily nancy grace, greta and geraldo, are coming up with these theories out of pure speculation. Speculation nowadays serves as news and they go on and on and on and on about the "possibilites".
They are making criminals and murderers and manipulators out of all of the players. It's really pretty disturbing.
Hey, that's a good CSI plot line.
That is a very mean spirited and innappropriate comment.
I don't think Stern had anything to do with this. Smith's life was a trainwreck waiting to happen. She has a long history of drug (illegal or prescription) and alcohol abuse and it was only a matter of time before this happened. The outcome was still tragic but inevitable nonetheless. At least preliminary ruled out foul play but until the results come back from the tox screens no one will know for sure.
The (very) premature deaths, within several months of each other,of two people who might have been the heirs of one half billion dollars is very curious, indeed.
One can only kill so many people before fingers start pointing though and they would pointing at the one to get the money.
Did Smith even have the money. I thought the case was still unsettled after the death of Marshall's son.
You don't have to shoot, stab or hit somebody on the head to kill them. One or more people could have had a half billion reasons to want her dead and what better way is there to do it than to slip something into the drink of a gal who had a history of drug use.
Remember that the operative phrase here is "ONE HALF BILLION DOLLARS".
My understanding is that the recent victory that she had in front of the SCOTUS virtually guaranteed her an inheritance of at least tens of millions and possibly of hundreds of millions.I'll wager anything that this Stern will claim to have been married to her *and* that he was the father of that child.
If he can prove *either* of these things to be true he's in for,at the very least,a *very* comfortable life... if not a breathtakingly large sum of $$$.
Unless,of course,he's convicted of murder somewhere down the line.
