To be clear, you specifically stated that LePen beleives in state ownership of industry. Please back that up, oh enlightened one.

"Le Pen is a neo-Nazi, an anti-Semite who hates America and Israel. He is anti-Capitalist and anti free trade. Where anyone gets the ideas that he is a good guy is beyond me.

Anyone who roots for that kind of scum is just as low as he is.

Still in his Fan Club?"

Here we go.

I don't think there is anyone on this forum who thinks Le Pen is God's gift to politics. Having said that, though, just think of the situation France presently is in. It's a terrible mess, and it will not get any better if things keep on going the way they are.
The point is, that although for a multitude of reasons it is undesirable to have Le Pen in the top job or anywhere near it, SOME support seems to keep mainstream politics on its toes. At least one should hope it does. But to start throwing with words like 'fascist' and 'Nazi' is just out of context, and therefore not sensible. There are plenty of people calling Le Pen and other unconventional politicians all sorts of things, but does it stop them from saying what they want to say? No. Neither should it. That's freedom of expression. Not just for you, or me, but also for Le Pen, like it or not. The only thing that can be done is closely monitoring what is being said. And if Mr Le Pen says that he has a problem with the increasing muslim immigration into Europe, well, he might have a point there. But that in itself doesn't make him a fascist or a Nazi, neither is he the only one with a grudge against the US of A or Israel for any reason or for none. And for what it's worth, I'm in nobody's fan club.

Even your worst enemy can be right, sometimes.

With all due respect, I have been following the career of M. le Pen for 20 years.

What else would you call someone who aligns himself with every neo-fascist and neo-Nazi group in Europe, of which there are many? Someone who isn't shy about denying the Holocoast, and France's role in it? Someone who routinely expresses hatred for Jews and Israel?

If it walks like a duck...etc.
