It's like any other Liberal dogma. Head start helps kids. There's a glass ceiling keeping women from the top jobs. Bilingual education is the best way to prepare illegal - er, undocumented - immigrant kids to find good jobs in America, etc. etc.
It's not the evidence that counts. It's that if you disagree, you've proved yourself to be a hater.
