Revolutionary Guards killed in bomb blast

At least 11 people have been killed in an unprecedented bomb attack on a bus carrying Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards.
The blast happened in the southeast of the country, near the border with Pakistan and Afghanistan, where government troops often clash with drug smuggling gangs.
A bomb hidden in a car was detonated as the bus taking soldiers from their housing compound in the city of Zahedan to a military base drew near. According to some reports armed motorcyclists shot at the bus to force it to stop, then fled after the explosion.
It is not yet clear how many of the dead were from the Revolutionary Guards, a highly-trained and loyal force run separately from the Iranian army.
Iranian television showed a large crowd gathering around the twisted wreckage of the bus at the scene of the explosion.
Zahedan is the capital of Sistan-Baluchestan province which borders both Afghanistan and Pakistan and has been hit by a string of attacks and kidnappings blamed on a Sunni group called Jundallah (Allah's Brigade).
The Revolutionary Guards are loyal to the Shia theocracy established in Iran after the 1979 revolution.
A spokesman in the Zahedan governor's offices said that two people had been arrested in relation to the attack.
Bush's fault?
Ruh-row!!
Karma has a way of turning around and biting you right in the a**..he he..
Sir, 11 members of the elite Revolutionary Guard were killed.
Good gracious. Anybody hurt?"
"No sir.
"Well, its lucky; because sometimes people do get hurt."
They just need to get that little runt of a mini-fuehrer into the crosshairs and then they'll be making progress.
If I wasn't firmly rooted in the 21st century, I'd dance, pass out candy to children, and pump my fist in the air, screaming "Death to Iran!"
SuX 2B th3m, Dood.
This would almost make me scream with delight if it weren't so similiar to possibilities on or near our own southern border. Terrorist and Druglords are become quite good friends.
Terrorist and Druglords are become quite good friends.
I hope so. Supporting Sunni insurgents against Iran's theocratic regime would be good payback.
It would be nice if our special ops pulled this off for some payback for all our soldiers being lost to the games the Iranians are playing with sending arms and trainers into Iraq.
Hope so.
I think it would be better if Iraq pulled it off on their own.
Sadly, it make take that to get Bush and the rino gang to do what thedy should have done in 2001.
No doubt some Border patrol agents are bought.
LOL A good friend of ours shared that their Mexiccan workers (yes, legal ones) explained to them that there is an unwritten 'code' at the border: different makes, years, and models of vehicles equate to the amount of cash the driver should have in his hand at the border. For example, a late model Chevy Suburban 'costs' $1000 cash to cross into the U.S.
iran...away!
no question
rather than take the high moral ground, and let the enemy attack our innocents with impunity in the knowledge we are too pious to aggressively retaliate, mine would be a far different approach
if you want to stop this thing, you've got to make the enemy pay dearly, and that means not being paralyzed by conscious co-existence of terrorists with civilians
japan and germany got the message
islam has yet to
but then again, i'm not the commander-in-chief...yet
As ye sow...
