I don't think its always a "lack of good judgment" if someone leaves a network we like for one we don't.Probably strictly a business decision and one many of us may make in our lifetimes.I think biting the hand that feed you in rarely a good idea. If Chetry does well at CNN, fine. But she'd've been off leaving FNC with some good will still there. You never know when you might need it.

Well, because we like them doesn't mean they are always right or fair. And, it appears they leaked their own letter on the evening they'd lost her to CNN, however it happened. I'd like to hear her side of it.

Makes you wonder when someone like Kiran was there before Gretchen, why she didn't get E.D. Hills position. Does anyone know where that Weekend guy, Julian went? I didn't like him, and I am not too fond of their weekend show anymore.

There is considerable complaing from time to time by Fox types about the austere climate there .
I can believe Fox has a policy of keeping expenses low and not promoting prima donna salaries. Kiran will not be allowed to emulate Perky Katie in spite of her agents desire to increase his cut of her package.
Her choice will be $$ and obscurity or a modest adjustment to the status quo.

Babies or preferred schedules aside, Gretchen & ED need to swap jobs. F&F is like the old Monday Night Football - the three people in the booth are what makes it go.
I listen with the sound down half the time any more - mostly because I miss ED going off on one.

It's not a matter of my liking FNC. It's about professionalism. There are ways to negotiate without leaving a bad taste in people's mouths. Even if you don't come to terms, you can still leave with some good will.
