Is this lying sack of sh*t referring to the cloture vote which failed and left the debate going on? My understanding is that no definitive vote was taken on any resolution -- Democrat or Republican. Am I right? Is Reid lying, again?

Oh now that's so harsh. It should read like this:
Democrat-ick cloture vote fails, Reid therefore announces that the Senate is on record against escalation. There now, much better. It isn't so much that he lies, it's that he's a pathological fairy tale teller.
