The Religious Right had better get right..and sit in the back seat and STFU!
Forget about a candidates personal view on abortion...as long as they will nominate judges to the SCOTUS like Thomas, Alito and Scalia.

Not like Rudy who says he favors judges like Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

What good will it do to nominate judges, if you don't control the Senate? Giuliani will split the party and the Senate will not swing to the GOP.

What evidence is there that Rudy will really appoint people like that? His track record suggests that his promises about judicial appointments are lies. Ambitious politicians lie all the time, especially when they have no scruples, and someone who won't even oppose partial-birth abortion (a.k.a. infanticide) has no scruples at all.

The Religious Right had better get right..and sit in the back seat and STFU! ...I'm not sure thats good advice. Besides being harsh and severe, that is. As evidenced by California, the more the whackydoddles, (of any stripe), moan, whine and spew venom at Arnie the more popular and secure Arnie is. This could be Rudy's vehicle, too. Distance himself from these extreme embarrassments in order to please the dirty, unshaven, uneducated and wishy washy middleground. You can't win without the capturing the middleground.

I remain unconvinced that Giuliani would push for a Scalia or an Alito for USSC judge, no matter what he says. Why would he want to appoint judges that oppose his political position on abortion, gays, guns...?
Has he ever said a word against
- Roe v. Wade,
- Doe v. Bolton,
- Bowers v. Hardwick,
- Romer v. Evans,
- Lawrence v. Texas...etc?
No, he has NOT seen fit to oppose the content of any of the outrageous instances of left-wing judicial activism in the last 20 years.
And he would do a U-turn on this, and oppose his own political interests....why?

Keep doing public relations for the Rino wing. Be as big a jerk as you can. Go for it. At least you are being honest. You at least show the party's real attitude, fangs and all.

So, you think it's time for the negros to move to the back of the bus eh?
Seems we've heard that song and dance before, it didn't end well for the bigots as I recall.
