Did somebody change the language behind my back? Not really. "What hath God wrought" means what has He done (worked), not what has he wrecked.
(But you forced me to look in my dictionary.

About time some of these lefty "lovers of humanity and haters of tyrants" took on a Communist dictatorship, which have for the most part been exempt from criticism by them.
Just a couple notes: "Paul" Stookey's real name is Noel (he apparently just adopted the name "Paul" to fit in with Peter Yarrow and Mary Travers), and Kim Jong Il isn't the "great leader"--he's the "dear leader." The "great leader" was the late, unlamented, psychopath Kim Il Sung (1912-1994), father of Kim Jong Il and constititutionally considered North Korea's ruler in perpetuity.
How come there are no hippies in Communist countries???

Yes, I checked my Webster's 1848, and you are absolutely correct.
My compliments, sir.

They were lined up in front of trenches and shot.
The survivors ran away.

I've heard that Paul is a born again Christian.

holding out hope Seems that hope is about all the girls family has left.
Mr. Yarrow only has to use the gift that God gave him, and let God take care of the rest.
If God can gobsmack Saul, on the road to Tarsus, I don't see a problem with little Kim.

There is only one kind of Christian. They are all born again. (Just a comment, not a side tangent, sorry).

Proper grammar indicates careful thought.Sigh. Read the entire exchange.
The "whom cares" line is a joke, one readily understood by anyone who (1) will readily recognize correct and incorrect usage of "who" or "whom" and (2) has a sense of humor.

He sure is a Presbyterian. I found the following at his website:
Et misericordia
A progenie in progenies
Timentibus eum
Translated it's
And his mercy is on them that fear him throughout all generations, and I think this is part of Mary's Psalm, the
Magnificat.
