Never mind, I figured it out as a jpeg save that I can enlarge as needed.

You asked, "Is western civilization heading toward extinction, or is it simply the liberal subclass?" Make no mistake by omission, Mia, liberals are killers and killing Western Civilization in a final spasm of inflection suits the current liberal democrat politicians to a tea since they haven't the means to comprehend their social policies (like abortion on demand regardless of killing alive unborn children) are antethetical to survival. One need only listen to senatorial fools such as Boxer, Biden, Dorgan, Leahy, clinton, and Harkin (not to mention Kennedy, since that's too obscene to endure) to realize the bastards don't have a clue! They are totally obsessed and consumed with their lust for power at any cost. What is perhaps even more frightening is the reality that Republicans see it all as a push and shove game for control, while our very nation is dying under an unopposed invasion from the south, degenerating social policies, and pernicious cowardly withdrawal from war against an active and blatant enemy abroad and hitting our homeland. Republicans do not seem capable of comprehending the imminent peril created by their failure to play this game for keeps (read for actual survival of the nation) rather than cyclic runs of power.

Meyer is widely credited with being the first senior U.S. Government official to forecast the Soviet Union's collapse.

Herbert Meyer may have been the first government offical to predict the collapse of the USSR, but Peter Drucker, Management Guru Extrordinaire, was probably the first, during the 1970s.

He based it on (surprise surprise) demographics, specifically the declining life expectancy of Russian men, mainly due to alcoholism.

Excellent.

Longterm, unless we purge DC of the professional poll, no one will 'play this game for keeps.'
'Cyclic runs of power' is all we'll get.

And unless we nominate someone who will go after the clintons and their abuses of power, failures and betrayals aggressively
and not succumb to clinton blackmail or other clinton abuses of power, what looks like an election in 2008 will be nothing less
than a gross usurpation of power.

Our candidate must use
THE 120 PAGES THAT WILL SINK THE CLINTON CANDIDACY AND PUT AN END TO THE CLINTONS IN OUR FACE ONCE AND FOR ALL
.

The three elephants in the room:

1- the clintons' documented abuse of power 4 (redacted via clinton abuse of power!)

2-
the clintons' 1 rape of Juanita Broaddrick 2

3-
the clintons' terrorism failure 3.

Mia...in the end it is all about taxes...when a country gets on the wrong side of the tax curve, Mom and Dad stop having children to maintain a basic lifestyle. When taxes go down, children go up. High taxes, you presume then the gov'mt will care for you in your old age since you've worked so hard for it...low taxes, 4-6 kids...some of them will care for you in your old age. Simple, 19th century home economics. Liberals consider the family unit an enemy of the state..and see taxes as a way to control it. You tax it you kill it...

very well put. There exists an inverse relationship between birth rate and tax rate.

at first Meyer's style seems a little simple but then again it *does* seem like its targeted for CEOs, who are often fairly simple minded people whose success is often that they get to the essence of things and cut throught the BS...

Very insightful.

Thanks for your comment about the graphics. :)

the left may be the modern age's equivalent of the Shakers, and will die out in a generation...

The Shakers minus the celibacy and simplicity (hillary excluded). ;)

[i hope they hurry up already]

That makes two of us. ;)

To: Mia T; Salvation

This is an informative long read.

My opine as one on the RC Ping list is Procreation in numbers as God wills to a Catholic couple is in need of full speed ahead.
Yes easy for my to say as I am out of the child/husband age years.

But after reading this article I can support more tax relief at the Govt. level for Bigger Catholic/Christian families.

Perhaps you may find fit to ping the Oregon Board/ping list to this article.

an excellent point

I agree. Liberalism is disembodied and pervasive and insidious; but I have to wonder: Without the purveyors of liberalism, won't the indicia of liberalism wear away over time?

"Without the purveyors of liberalism, won't the indicia of liberalism wear away over time?"

It's been said that the poor will always be with us.

If one accepts this statement as fact, or gospel, which I happen to, doesn't it make sense that those who are looking for an easy way, or just have a misguided faith in Big Brother, will always be with us as well?

The question in my mind, is our (my) treatment of the poor, the ignorant, the faithless, the leftist...

Meyer omitted mention of the dismal and dangerous state of public education, especially in the U.S. and U.K. This is the most serious of our long-term problems, as it goes a long way to contributing to our failure to recognize or solve others.
