They most striking historical account of what was happening in the world but more precisely North America during this infamous period can be found in a John Loftus book entitled The Secret War Against the Jews.
I had a chance to visit the Frank's attic while passing through Amsterdam. It's an experience that will stay with me forever. Then a few years later I read the Loftus book. This book is a real "eye opener" for that period of history. However, there seems to be no lessons learned from this.
