I wont vote for Rudy under ANY circumstances. If the Republican party wants my vote, they had better nominate someone who is both fiscally and socially a conservative.

The republican party nominates the one who won the most primaries and corresponding delegates. If you don't want to vote Rudy then that's your choice but if he's the guy then it's that more people wanted him versus the other candidates.

Gee, I didn't know the GOP had the power to automatically nominate someone. So what are primaries for?

Take Rudy out in the primaries, but if he wins the primaries I would suggest voting for him in the general.

..and then lose in the general election. A conservative wont be able to win in the forthcoming election.
