Just heard this Cheryl Wertz speaking on FOX News. She wants to ensure that illegals get the vote so they can be ENTITLTLED to all the wonderful benefits in America and so they NEVER have to live in fear of being deported!
Do not vote for anyone who is pro illegal alien, unless you wish a permanent end to conservatism in America!

Due to the fact that it typically takes 8-10 years for legal immigrants to be granted citizenship, immigrant-rights advocates contend that the current law violates the longstanding U.S. principle of "no taxation without representation." No votation without legalization.

Do not vote for anyone who is pro illegal alien, unless you wish a permanent end to conservatism in America! That would eliminate Giuliani, McCain, Romney, Brownback and any Democrat.

Just another step of "incremental ism" from the far left. "Citizenship" means nothing to them anymore. Or, more to the point, being an naturalized American citizen is a "bad" thing because we are the cause of all that is wrong with the planet.
Just the same reason for the popularity of Obammma Sama, WHITE GUILT, you read it here first!

So, someone who was born here and perhaps has generations of lineage in this country, who has worked and maybe built a family, or has come here legally and been here long enough to become a citizen and have a stake in the place, is no different from someone who shows up here one day and has stayed at least six months?
I don't think so.

Voting is supposed to be a privilege....for those of us who are citizens, pay taxes and DO NOT BREAK THE LAW.
No one should be "entitled " to anything...not even citizens who are too lazy to get their asses off the welfare rolls when their health and availability for work permits.

Someone said the Dims wouldn't go for an immigration package but rather, do it by changing one law at a time. We're seeing that happen.

If they want them to vote in local elections fine. But they should be arrested if they knowingly encourage and allow criminal alien Non citizens of the United States to vote in Federal Elections for the Presidency and the House and Senate.

Wonder if New York City would much mind if the residents of West Virginia ALSO voted in their elections. Like, if you are going to have illegal aliens doing the voting, then why not American citizens helping them out.

allow legal immigrants who have been in the country for more than six months to vote in local city elections. Geez! Why not let them run for office after one year.

Rudolph Giuliani sued all the way up to the Supreme Court to defend the citys sanctuary policy against a 1996 federal law decreeing that cities could not prohibit their employees from cooperating with the INS.

It's about
legal aliens...
local and municipal electionsI used to work in a job where I got to help immigrants (mostly S. Vietnamese, but some Russian, Kurdish, Korean and Mexican) study and prepare for their citizenship tests. Many had been here and working for many years before they were eligible for citizenship.
I got to know many of them very well and some had amazing stories. All were very proud new citizens when they passed the test. Some legal aliens (store owners) are quite prosperous business people who perhaps deserve a vote in their community. While I'm not sure I'm on board with this idea, I think the ability to vote in local elections would make them feel like they were a part of their community and is worth debating.
Immigrants are not the enemy JimRob. In your zeal to fight illegal immigrants, please don't blur the distinction between legal immigrants and illegal ones.
To: Jim Robinson
"no taxation without representation." Somebody should tell them... that taxation *with* representation ain't all that great, either.
