Jobs belong to the employers that are offering them. THEY get to decide. If you don't want to accept the wages offered FIND something else to do!
It's also apparent that you have no interest in the law!

Maybe I missed something. Did the original post say these were "illegal" workers? I didn't see it. I guess when we see stories like this we're just supposed to assume it any more?

The law says you can't give jobs to illegal aliens. That's what it all boils down to. Employers have to obey the law too.

I chose to speak out against law breakers, invaders, most often felons, who are competitive in the job market because they are law breakers, invaders, felons, and usually, mexicans.
I'd also like to be able to see a doctor in the event I actually DO have an emergency, to spend a day in court listening to English, or to simply drive on a public road with some expectation that the bozo sleeping through that yellow/red light has insurance.
There's nothing conservative about supporting and encouraging the breaking of the law.
I don't really look at it as anyone stealing jobs. Free people will go wherever they can to do what's best for themselves. It's only natural, and both you and I would do just as they have if we were in their place.
I think the blame for all of this belongs on our federal government and the traitorous businesses who employ these people. Both are enabling and facilitating the sellout of many people in our country. All for votes and a few extra dollars.

Once the illegals and other countries have to pay all the taxes, support regulations and so forth then its fair. Other than that its a sham. Folks like you really don't understand what makes the world go round. The BEST worker is someone who takes pride in their work and considers it THEIR job.
You get what you pay for. The sad thing is that the contractors are not passing along their savings to the consumer. They are sticking it in their pocket while the unsuspecting homebuyer thinks that they are getting quality work only to have problems down the road. We've already seen brick falling off of houses because of Mexicans not using wall ties.
I am a comml real estate builder, and the rumor is 250,000 American construction jobs have been lost to illegals over the past 5 years. This to me is pure evil!
Every year we print calendars, around 10, full color.
It costs us around $20,000. Each time we go back to the plant, they have less and less jobs running. We asked why and they said that everyone's jobbing their work out to China.
Now, we have NO desire to support Red China, and we want to keep our dollars local, but how much longer will there be ANY printing plants in the US??
I cannot believe the attitude of some here who say "Who cares if American jobs or American industries are lost?! If China or illegal aliens can do it cheaper, SCREW the Americans!"
