This is so true. In this part of the country history binds us to Mexico. It's a proud part of our culture and heritage. But people stampeding across the border with no regard for our immigration laws is not what America is about. They are dragging us down economically and socially and bankrupting our medical and educational resources. It's a sad thing to watch.

That is simply not the case.

They pay taxes and contribute to this society in many ways.

If nothing else these people are risk takers and those are the people you want in the gene pool.
