There's something missing from my limited understanding of this mess and that is why can't these people work for a living?
Kofi Anan and his son have no such insecurity, after ripping off the UN's bogus "Oil for Food Program" to the tune of multi-millions of dollars. They made sure they will never lack for anything in their plush retirement.
Why would anyone pay the slightest attention to anything that this collection of grifters in the UN has to say?
The simple fact is, the majority of the population there does nothing productive. They live off foreign donations as "employees" of the local government.
If they had to spend more time learning to do something productive, AKA earning a living, they'd have less time to hate and kill.
They looted and pulled down the greenhouses that were given to them after the Jews were expelled, the greenhouses were "all jewed up" that made them haraam.
That's simple. With all the foreign aid they receive they don't have to.
The foreign aid is poison.
Isn't it normal to sell assets if you need money to live? Would the UN rather have us give money to those with "land, jewelry, and other assets"?
The Palenstian government cannot support themselves either because it is living off of foreign aid handouts. A truely new approach would be to encourage Israel to annex the area so Palenstians can get on with their lives. Those that don't like it can build new lives in other Middle East countries.

At some point, somebody needs to stop worrying about the UN and do something rational with the palis. If I were running Israel I'd simply announce that the slammite world had 30 days to find a place to put the animals, a minimum of 1000 km from Israel, and that any found closer than that on day 31 would simply be killed.
And they have a shortage of .... fish? Doesn't Gaza face about 20 miles of Mediterranean shoreline?
These people are truly, truly among the most useless and pathetic on the face of the earth.
Unfortunately, the Palis are recognized as animals throughout the Middle East.
They seem to have plenty of money for bullets, bombs, indoctrination, and terror face masks.
