"And assure that Hitlery and her perp husband, both persons with no values I recognize, would surely win. Then the Republic is toast."

We agree.
Therefore, save the Republic, and don't put a pro-abortion Republican on the Presidential ticket.
Put a pro-life Republican up there, and pro-lifers will vote for him.
Don't, and they won't.
It's so simple.

In a similar vein, Alan Keyes recently made the following remarks to an audience last November 5 in Pensacola, Florida:

In whose deluded mind are Alan Keyes' comments in the same vein as those of the White Rose? A small group of non-violent youth, some of whom had actually seen the war, acted even under Nazi oppression vs. a man who apparently can't get elected in any state? And Lord knows he's tried in enough of them...That's like saying Alan Keyes speech is in the 'same vein' as George Washington. Both gave speeches...oh wait, Washington actually did something didn't he? Sorry....

Never mind the fact the 'quote' from the second leaflet is taken out of context and is dealing with the Holocaust and war crimes carried out by the Nazi government. The 'quote' from the third leaflet has nothing to do with Keyes, quite the contrary knowing Keyes propensity to call for enforcement of morality on a nationwide basis

But one matter needs to be brought out clearly and unambiguously. Every individual human being has a claim to a useful and just state, a state which secures freedom of the individual as well as the good of the whole. For, according to God's will, man is intended to pursue his natural goal, his earthly happiness, in self-reliance and self-chosen activity, freely and independently within the community of life and work of the nation.

But our present "state" is the dictatorship of evil. "Oh, we've known that for a long time," I hear you object, "and it isn't necessary to bring that to our attention again." But, I ask you, if you know that, why do you not bestir yourselves, why do you allow these men who are in power to rob you step by step, openly and in secret, of one domain of your rights after another, until one day nothing, nothing at all will be left but a mechanized state system presided over by criminals and drunks? Is your spirit already so crushed by abuse that you forget it is your right - or rather, your moral duty - to eliminate this system?

Self reliance? Self chosen activity?!? Wait, you mean government non-interference into the affairs of an individual? Quite Lockean. And considering Keyes' stance on so many other issues, one I do believe he wouldn't fully support.

I see he's in FL. Is he going to set up camp and run there next? Is FL his new 'home'? Y'all run. Alan's coming to town!!

LOL!!! Considering I don't care which of the political hacks that happen to be leading win the nomination (or should I say if) as I don't support any of them (or their positions), you don't smell anything. Well unless you've been standing too close to Keyes during one of his speeches and in that case that's not fear....

It's not fear to point out the quotes the author uses have nothing to do with Keyes' position. Just as Keyes or his speeches are not in the 'same vein' and can't be compared to what the White Rose did. To do so, frankly, is to be about as dishonest as one can be.
