Do you Dave Ramsey folks really cut up the cards? I am all for the discipline, but I travel and buy much of my stuff online.

How does that work?

Debit card!

Someone pointed out in an earlier post that she was speaking not as an investment guru but as an H-MO. If she has been speaking as a investment adviser she would have known that. Her books are full of very useful and practical advise, we actually use some of her quotes from her books. I don't know if that makes her a good adviser or a good editor. ;o)

At 25 million, I'd recommend anybody with less than 24 million listen.

maybe not take her advice, but at least find out HOW she made it.

Then, listen to your conscious, and decide if how she made it (not who she made it with) is worth following. Then again, if she IS following Gore and the socialists that closely, is her advice correct?

Seems more like she's revealing that she's a lesbian.

True enough.
And I'll flip your example-if all men had to choose from in females was HILLARY,there might be many more of us going to the YMCA and "hanging out with all the boys".

I've run into quite a few homosexuals that are extremely wealthy, and while they've generally done a lot of things correctly, in terms of financial investment, they also haven't had the expense of raising children, and both partners work full time, frequently at careers, not jobs. Because they don't spend time with children, they frequently live their jobs, rising higher in their earnings potential.

My brother got divorced many moons ago, and we lived together for about five years, before each of us married. At the end of that time, we each owned new vehicles, a motorcycle each (new top end ones), a home, took vacations, and still had enough left over to put money in savings, without going into debt. We were both firefighters, which is a good career, but not one associated with wealth.

We each got married, sold our house and divided the profits. Between us we had eight children. While I'm certainly glad I got married, luxuries like motorcycles and other things are out of the question, and saving and avoiding debt are much more of a struggle.

Going by my own experience, two professionals living together without the expense or time requirements of raising children have far fewer obstacles to accumulating wealth. In fact, I think you'd almost have to try to avoid accumulating it to end up in financial trouble.

I sat here and got to thinking. This poor pathetic fruitcake has missed so much in life. She is worth 25 milion dolars and she is upset that she can only leave half of that to her pervert lover.

How much does she think her lover needs. I would be happy if I could leave half of her half to my childen and my wife.

She doesnt mention family or Nieces or nephews or any close loved ones to leave this money to, just this carpet munching
significant other . She is 55 now, by the time she dies her
lover will probably only need funds for the nursing home, so I dont really see why she is so perturbed.

She is 55, she has never known real love, she has served no purpose in this life , when she dies she doesnt leave any legacy in Children, she will be buried in a lonely grave that no one will care for.

Yeah, but we did it because it's the greatest job in the world. You know the old joke, what do firefighters and doctors have in common? They both want to be firefighters.

How much does she think her lover needs.

I've noticed that in a lot of areas people tend to go overboard. I do it with photography. I have some friends that are workout fanatics, and spend twenty hours a week working out. It's certainly healthier than a lot of obsessions, but also exceeds anything necessary unless you're a professional athlete.

It's her business, but from a financial security standpoint, she's into the "winning the game" category, not the "assuring financial security phase.
