I don't think her paulat's post was a flame. Show her where you're getting flamed and maybe she'll listen.

..well, I had to make a commitment for this poll anyway--even if I'm still uncommitted otherwise.

It's pretty clear who I am NOT for...

Id fasten your seat belt too, its going to get real bumpy here over the next several months;-)

What was with that?? Why wasn't he man enough to stand up to the "macaca" thing?

Jeez...he just whimpered away like a kicked puppy.

Golly...if he had just stood up and said, "SHUT UP!" there would have been a testosterone rush.

There must have been something more behind such a spectacular collapse.

The 'something more' was that he wasn't ready for prime time, despite the FR love affair. Must have been the cowboy hat and slow wits that threw them off.

"ALL of the Hunter people are nasty."

Gee thanks

Did I offend you in another life or something?

LOL I am as gabby as they come!!

I'm in the midst of cooking sketti, but yes so far it appears that he is assembling a very good team.

The best person (since im starvin) would be antonious, or pissant to ask and point you to more info.

I think he looks really promising and hes solidly conservative.

Theres along time til the primaries though, so take your time, get to know more about him.

Anyhoo, off to eat:-)

You think that Duncan Hunter is more conservative than Ronald Reagan? That's your right, of course, but the Club for Growth, with Pat Toomey at its head, seems to disagree with you.

According to that website some of Hunter's most 'troubling' votes were No to McCain/Feingold and Yes to No Child Left Behind. Exactly who is going to be troubled by those votes?

Is it okay to criticize Rudy supporters? Nothing has stopped you yet.

Is it okay to INSULT loyal FReepers? Not in my book.

No, his troubling vote was the YES on the 527 bill. As for No Child Left Behind, I don't think that a $30 billion expansion in the federal bureaucrazy is that fiscally conservative.

*ALL of the Hunter people are nasty.*

Same could be said for many other FReepers for other candidates.
There have been so many threads packed with slime, innuendos and outright ignorant remarks about Hunter.

If you would read the threads before you post...you would see that has been resolved in the last 200 or so.

I actually found three Hunter supporters who WEREN'T nasty...and we're going to keep in touch.

Reading the thread helps....

Actually I completely support his votes on NAFTA and CAFTA.

... Why would you attack me? ...

Caricatures, man, caricatures. The illusion of Archie Bunker costs us votes. Support Duncan in a positive manner and don't insult or alienate those who we would convince. These folks hang out at a conservative website because they want to be conservative, help them to realize the Duncan Hunter is the conservative candidate, not that his loyal primary opposition is evil incarnate.
