If Democrats address this issue at all in Congress, which is unlikely, they will continue the lie that AQ wasn't in Iraq until we started the war.
The Democrats couldn't win if they didn't count on voters to have amnesia and forget that:
1) In the 1990's, the MSM wrote dozens of articles worrying about the growing relationship between Iraq and AQ.
2) Saddam was called the ATM to AQ.
3) Saddam's propoganda magazine talked about what was coming to NYC and the Pentagon in July 2001. Unless we are to believe that OBL was just gossiping with Saddam about what his plans were, then Saddam was in on the deal.
4) Clinton's federal indictment of OBL mentions his relationship with Iraq. AQ agrees not to attack Iraq in exchange for weapons training. That sounds exactly like a relationship and business deal to me.

Impossiblr! As I heard it, the chemicals being loaded were left over WMD from Saddam. We all know the WMD did not exist.
The Democrats further terrorized me with this headline:
"Rats Take Over Restaurant" - then I found they were talking NYC where Rats abound.
"they will continue the lie that AQ wasn't in Iraq until we started the war."
I've never understood this. Let's say the dems are right (which they're not) What's the difference? They're there now. They're in Asia, Africa, europe and have been for years and years. They've been attacking us and others in different parts of the world for what, 15 yrs?
I don't see their point.
What seems apparent to me, is that Clinton's non-action against binLaden's attacks during his presidency, are what emboldened him to attack us here in the U.S.

Even if aq was not in Iraq and followed us there doesn't it then reason that if we leave Iraq they will follow us wherever we go?
I mean if they supposedly had no interest in Iraq before we invaded yet they followed us anyway.
They are being killed, captured, intelligence found. Why would they be in Iraq and lose so often if there was not a strategic reason for them to have Iraq?
