Sources say the diminutive movie mogul is motivated by jealousy because his old friend Bill Clinton now prefers the company of supermarket billionaire Ron Burkle. Geffen's animosity is also fueled by Burkle's attempt to buy the Los Angeles Times, which Geffen had wanted to purchase for himself.

I read the article but it is my understnding that the Clintons have known Burkle for about the same amount of time as Geffen. I don't think the blow out really has much to do with both Burkle and Geffen wanting to buy the LA Times. Instead, Geffen sounded very emotionally involved in the Peltier pardon.
But The Big Creep was so enamored or Denise Rich's humogous breasts and huge wallet that he pardoned he scumbag husband. (I'm sure she got lots of money from Rich for scamming Bill).
And I would not doubt that the Clinton's had made a commitment of some sort to Geffen to pardon Peltier ... or at least he thought so. His contempt came through loud and clear.

Pure spin, obviously planted by the HRC forces to explain why Geffen is acting crazy and jealous. This is just adding gasoline to the fire. With his opening salvo, there is no way that Geffen intends to back down no matter what. He has enough money so that audits, threats, etc. will have no affect upon him. This fight is reminiscent of the recent Trump Rosie altercation, but with one major difference--the outcome of this battle actually makes a difference. Stayed tuned, Geffen can give as good as he can get. For ammo, he need only look at the Freerepublic archives. Wouldn't it be amusing to see him go after Hillary's bad memory, comparing it to Scooter Libby's. The wealth of ammunition that is available to someone in Geffen's position to take these "people" on is just spellbinding. It is a beautiful thing to see a democrat throwing the truth at the Clintons. Never thought I would live to see this.
Shame on the Post for quoting unnamed Clinton sources, helping in her jihad against Geffin. I don't expect the Clintons to put a horse head in his bed, but negative articles about him? Right up their alley!!!
It's just more of the Clinton political machine, they're experts at destroying all who dare to oppose them in any way.
No matter what the reason Geffen is right about the Clintons. Many FOBs found the same thing after dealing with them.

As a producer with series money, he can do whatever he wants. But then the kissing and making up will be even greater.

The hugely corrupt are never unified (even when they use every resource at their command to portray unity) because they have no underlying, unifying, shared principles between them; other than their love and respect for arrogance and ego.
They never have any real respect for each other, only fawning and pandering interest until they bruise one another's ego. This is clear in Geffen's comments, reflecting what he has known and admitted to himself for a long time (now publicly), that the Clintons are notorious liers.
That was O.K. to Geffen, until now, when the Clinton's little egos got bruised over Geffen's support for Obama, and their, Clinton's, public fuss over that issue bruised Geffen's little ego.
The whole affair revealed that the Clinton-Geffen mutual support society was always as substantial (phony) as a Hollyweird air kiss.
You might be right, but I don't see the kissing and making up. Rather an uneasy truce at best. I would look for several more outbursts in the coming weeks. The damage he is doing to her campaign may make any reproachment impossible.

For a scripture reading concerning this, try Matthew 5:43 - 5:48. This quoting here is from the NKJV:

Bill and Hill have never allowed friendship to stand in the way of their opportunity to make an extra buck. Obviously Burkle has been able to line their pockets more than Geffen ever would. The Clintons are known for tossing aside their "friends" for a better deal.
