Just watched Bill Kristol repeat Geffen's charges with a big smile on his face. He really enjoyed it.

Bill Kristol's article in the Weekly Standard this week is You Go, Geffen!

Yes...and since the MSM have decided that THEY are going to anoint the next POTUS..they have managed to keep the good news off the air...

And putting out the saviour of all that is wrong with America and ostensibly, the world....BARACK OBAMA, front and center of every news show.

Poor Obama...must be so ticked at Anna Nicole right now.

The new media has LOTS of power, but it needs more.

I saw a new musical Saturday night, called The Winner. It's about the senate race in Texas when Lyndon Johnson won by 87 completely fraudulent votes. (over Coke Stevenson)

I was thinking that this could not happen today because of the new media... but then I thought, maybe it could.

There's still a lot of voter fraud especially in dem strongholds, and even though we report it, and bemoan it, the MSM ignores it and so does most of the public.

We are getting stronger, but there is much to do.

Saturday Night Live had their opening sketch with Darrell Hammond playing Wolf Blitzer...

He was very seriously trying to talk about how awful the war in Iraq is going..and how Bush is taking us to war in Iran..

and the whole time, the news crawl at the bottom of the screen kept saying "ANNA....ANNA.....WE WANT ANNA....ANNA...ANNA MORE ANNA."

LOL...it went from there to a reporter supposedly heading to Walter Reed Hospital to check on the horrid conditions that our troops are suffering at that hospital...

but, instead give his report from the Bahamas...and when they go back to Wolf...it is Wolf's face imposed on the body of Anna Nicole..

I really did have to laugh out loud at that sketch last night!!

Txsleuth, I jost got here. Are you certain that Hersh said something about Iran wanting a Sunni crescent? That makes no sense, as Iran is Shia!

I skimmed it. This is going to cause a global maelstrom against us, whether true or not.

I'm still amazed at the lack of coverage of the jury deliberations at the Libby ''trial''. We started out with coverage 24-7 of every aspect concerning how this will destroy not only V.P Cheney, but will surely make the president a lame duck (if not impeached). Now.....it's where are we going to bury Anna Nicole's implants.

I am so glad you pointed that out.

I realized my mistake...and have been trying to figure out how to "fix it"..without confusing people that may not have read the original post.

Yes..Miss M...you are very correct, I transposed Sunni and Shiite in that post.

Thank you..thank you for pointing that out!!

And isn't that the point??

Isn't that why Sy Hersh wrote it???

This will help the Dems all the way through the election if they do get hearings and investigations going.

But, I must say that his "performance" on CNN was much more disturbing, yet comical, than just reading his words in this article.

Here are my Chris Wallace watch Week 3 comments:

I initially thought CW came away unscathed this week, but having seen Feith's e-mail, I have changed my mind.

First my impressions.
CW interview with Condi went reasonably well as in nothing notable. CW asked reasonable questions and gave Condi all the time to answer. There was really no engagement or follow up. The last part of the interview is a problem that most of the LSM exhibits. Condi was asked about Obama by virtue of her being black. This is waste of time filler that pervades these programs.

CW interview with Govs Perry and Rendell was not notable either. Although I did note that Wallace has an agenda (in fairness it is his preparation) but he is not too good in engaging on the fly. At the end, CW says that he has to ask about politics and asks them about the VP slot. Another waste of time question. Unfortunately, this crap is pervasive on these programs.

My biggest problem was that CW noted the e-mail that you have referenced and stated that Feith stands by his story while The Weekly Standard stood by their story. My initial thought is that is wrong with the news programs. There are facts to be determined but the media is too lazy, incompetent,or biased (other adjectives might be appropriate) to go after and report on the truth.

I came away with the impression that the interviews were reasonable but much of the problem with the LSM is demonstrated: Waste of time questions about politics at the end of interviews and leaving differing versions of a fact without finding out the truth.

Subsequently, as I was reading a different thread, I came across the e-mail that you referenced. I realized that the CW interview with Feith was even worse than I had perceived at the time. CW got the facts wrong.

Nothing impressive yet from CW. I have a feeling that finding anything good to say will be like finding the proverbial needle in a haystack.

In that way of thinking, it may be bad for us that the Dems are having their bad time early. LOL But I like it, I like it.

How about ONE time we look at the WHOLE picture instead of merely selectively cherry picking facts to rationalize personal position on the Immigration issue? WHICH party leadership fought for, and brought the Legislation to the floor for a vote and which party, especially in the US Senate, did everything, including filibustering it, to kill that Legislation you cite? That right the Democrats killed it. EVERY single Democrat Senator voted against it. EVERY one.

But that right, God forbid the Alway Angry about Everything crowd actually put anything issue into context or actually think about the totality of the issue or what discuss what is actually going on in DC. Frankly this odd habit of the Purists, such as Luntz, of NEVER ever being able to actually find ANYTHING to attack the Democrats on EVER makes us wonder which side they REALLY are on. They seem to spend all their time doing the Democrats PR dirty work for them. Rather strange behavior from people claiming to be "Real Conservatives". Their fire is NEVER directed at anyone but their own political allies. Frankly with friends like this, who needs enemies. To their doctrine of total Dogmatic Political Purity linked to their pathetic need to constantly sniping their own political allies in the back rather then EVER attack the Democrats on ANY issue is WAY more important t then actually MOVING what they claim to be their political agenda forward. Frankly Reagan, a supremely pragmatic politician would spit on all of these dogmatic purists.

Utterly pathetic that this same collection of Dogmatic Purists constantly squeal about their "God" Reagan. The SAME Ronald Reagan who signed a REAL Illegals Amnesty. Doubled the Size of the Fed Govt in 8 years, Signed 2 Tax Hikes, Spent Record Fed Deficits, negotiated with the Mullahs of Iran, appointed a Liberal to the SC and ran away from the Muslim Terrorist threat.

Using the SAME standard applied by Lutz et al, REAGAN was "NO Conservative" and utterly failed the American people.

Basically what Lutz et al want to do is IGNORE the best sustained economic performance ever, the successful war, ignore all the Conservative Judges and the thousands of other accomplishments and instead mindlessly fixate on the 30% of their personal political agenda that did NOT make it thru the DC Legislative buzz saw on it's very 1ST time around.

Rather the Conservative Establishment would simply rather whine and bitch and cry endlessly that the world is not perfect and they did not get out of politics everything exactly the way they wanted and NOTHING that they did not want the very 1st Time it came around.

Well Guess What. People with that sort of attitude better resign themselves to dying unhappy then. NO body gets ONLY 100% of ONLY what THEY want the second they want it in politics. NOBODY.

So after about 70 years being out of power in one branch or the other the Conservatives were exactly 1 SC Justice away from FINALLY regaining control of all three branches of the US Govt and the childish wretches of the Worst Generation pissed it all away in a fit of petulant because their personal political whimsy was not being enacted as fast as they felt it should be.

Frankly the modern "Conservative" Establishment has demonstrated itself utterly too juvenile and petulant to be a Majority Party. Ronald Reagan would have NOTHING but contempt for the scum in the current Conservative Establishment who scream the loudest about being his intellectual grandchildren.

A long time ago we had a poster here named Arne Saknussen. His explanation of his support of President Bush was that he "had given him his marker." In other words, he trusted Bush, and since we cannot know all of the intelligence about things going on, we just have to trust that the guy we elected is doing the best he can and is doing what we would want.

Sadly, Arne lost his temper with someone and got banned. I still remember that post, though, because it underscores how I feel about Hersh's charges.

I hope the President DID divert money and hide it. I hope he DOES have a bunch of black ops on-going. And furthermore, I hope the democrats know it, can't prove it, and choke over it!

I have no patience with any of the whiners, gripers, malcontents, fringers of both parties, back-seat drivers, armchair generals, peaceniks, or general fruitcakes who inhabit so much of today's body politic.

Rant over. Hersh is a waste of oxygen. I hope the reason that his connection from Egypt was cut off so abruptly is because one of those black ops guys grabbed him and he is going to be incommunicado in some backwater prison for a while.

By the way, according to my morning paper there are a bunch of Arab terrorists being held in Terre Haute, Indiana. I just thought I would throw that in the mix.

This is all good news as far as I can see. Geffen has so much money he can buy and sell the Clintons a dozen times over. I remember when Cher used to date Geffen, he was pretty wealthy even then. I have been hearing for years that he is "Gay" Geffen. Of course in Hollywood that is like saying you breathe. This is going to get really ugly before it is over. Get that Popcorn supply in, the next year will be like watching a lighter version of "24".

David Geffen's Wikipedia entry includes this little gem:

Geffen, who is openly gay, was the subject of a persistent but false 1990s rumor that he had married actor Keanu Reeves. Before he came out as openly gay, he dated Cher and Marlo Thomas in the late 1970's. He is the reputed capo de capo of the Hollywood Gay Mafia.

We all should know just how accurate and reliable anything we read on Wikipeidia is, but it is a data point.  I wonder if this says anything about Barack Hussein Obama?  He is rather... pretty, if you know what I mean.  That's nasty, I have no indication whatsoever that BHO is anything but straight.  However, it does indicate his willingness to court the capo de capo of the Hollywood Gay Mafia to get into the White House.  Who else is he willing to snuggle up to?  Buddhist monks with PLA money, perhaps?

On CNN, did he implicate that the missing 12 billion in Iraq was what was diverted by us to fund the "redicrection"?
