With 30 million third-world Mexican illegal aliens dumped on the backs of U.S. taxpayers, one would expect Mexican officials to keep their mouths shut about border violation issues. You know, do not bring up a subject that will expose your own criminality and vulnerability.
But Mexico is obviously a land of pandemic stupidity.
What else can one conclude after learning that Mexico's Congress has condemned what it says is a border violation by U.S. workers building a controversial barrier between the two countries? Here:
Can you imagine-- Mexico complaining about the U.S. and borders?
In order to resolve this issue intelligently, American officials should pose the following questions to the complaining Mexican officials:
Did the United States violate the sovereignty and borders of Mexico by encouraging 30 million American citizens to cross the border illegally?
Did American illegal aliens feed at the public trough for health care, education, food, housing and other vital services to which they were not entitled, and which cost Mexican taxpayers hundreds of billions of pesos each year?
Did American illegal aliens overwhelm Mexican hospitals, medical clinics, and emergency rooms and refuse to pay for medical services received?
Did the impact of serving American illegal aliens force scores of medical facilities into bankruptcy, resulting in the loss of vital medical services for Mexican citizens?
Did American illegal aliens who refused to pay for medical services manage to send $30-50 billion a year back to the United States?
Did American illegal aliens refuse to learn Spanish, and demand that Mexico provide services in English at considerable cost to Mexican citizens?
Did the children of American illegal aliens slow down and otherwise impede the education of Mexican children because of language and cultural issues?
Did American illegal aliens demand driver licenses despite being in Mexico illegally? Did they...?

More like foxes in the hen house in collaberation with a few foxes here in America.
I don't think it's stupidity as much as arrogance.
Enlarged United States of America.
There, for those fed up with the frequent posting of the above link; this time it's accompanying a legitimate, independent comment. |
bump. And hypocrisy.
Wake Up Ping!
If you want on, or off this S. Texas/Mexico ping list, please FReepMail me.
Mexico is NOT stupid, they know that the cringing, spineless, American bureacrats and politicians will break their necks to kiss Mexico's butt, regardless of Mexico's complaint.
I have no idea why but it is true.
Parasites don't need to be smart. All they need is a host to suck on.
"arrogance"
And why should mexico NOT be arrogant? They get everything they demand. Even Border Patrol agents are now being jailed because they have the "audacity" to mess with ILLEGALS.
It is so powerful, that prior to the 2000 primaries certain folks sent in known & self admitted drug smugglers into Free Republic to repudiate it.
The threads have been dropped from FR, but if you Google, "BBottoms Free Republic", they are still out there.
Sadly I wasn't a FReeper then as I would have had some questions for Mr. William Bottoms, Barry Seal's brother in law.
It's not a rational place.
Expect our govt. to effusively and repeatedly apologize, pay damages, severely punish (or turn over to the Mexican govt.)those responsible, cancel building the fence to ensure it never happens again, and give in to even more demands by Mexico.
Bump
Thank you for the correction. The answer seems to be "YES"
This is a zinger. It made my whole day.
There's a fine line between appeasement and being a traitor.
In this case, turning the other cheek will get you bit in the ass.
