The fact that women are more prone to IBS than are men proves that all the emotional outpouring women do with each other leads to more stress. They should be more like men who internalize everything and never share their feelings. But wait! Men are more prone to getting bleeding ulcers. I suppose whatever you do will be a real "pain in your gut." Eat, drink and be merry, for tonight you're going to spend alot of time on the toilet.
Who knew there was a magazine called Gut? I'd like to have a few copies, go to a party, and leave them in the bathroom for reading material.
Gut Magazine $289.00 a year.
I'll reply privately, as the answer is a touch too much information.
Your kidding?
Funny, soup was one of the things that made my IBS worse before I discovered activated carbon.
When doctors find themselves confronting something they don't know, they just call it a "syndrome." That's not a big deal, but then the temptation is to sweep other things that may or may not be related into the same "syndrome" basket.
Common sense would tell you that diarrhea-predominant IBS and constipation-predominant IBS might have very different causes and cures. But it's all IBS to the doctors.
Do perfectionists like to eat alot of Indian food?
You must have met a bad crop. Perfectionists also tend to be people pleasers and try hard to make the people in their lives happy. That may just be the female versions, though. :)
