Read up on PTSD. Criminal behavior is NOT a symptom of the disorder.

Drug usage, & anger, rage issues are all part of PTSD, these can conflict with society's rules & regulations on how people should behave. There will be a marked increase of domestic violence, drunk driving and up to and including suicide amongst these folks. This is why some of our Viet Nam vets have had the problems that they have had. Classic criminal behavior is not part of PTSD, as the Vet tries to cope with the changing surroundings their problems will magnify, without the help that they will need to readjust to being in a NON combat area & way of life.....
