The one thing that surprised me last night was the fact that Al Gore DID NOT win an Oscar. Yes, his movie did, and it's all him and it was really a vote for him, but when the winner was announced, the name was NOT Al Gore. He wasn't even a co-producer of "his" film. The film won, but he didn't get an Oscar for it. At least, Hillary has a Grammy.

He didn't get it. The producer did. And they actually can't discredit it if the basis for the movie isn't Global Warming, but Al Gore's personal crusade to spread the lie. If it's the latter, that 100% truth that he's doing that.

"You can get your CO2 emissions down to zero". There is only one way to do that.
I would love to see every one of those idiots get his CO2 emissions to zero, which will occur when they reach room temperature....

Global warming is just as serious as that Y2K threat that Gore warned us about back in 1999. </sarcasm>

It was funny in a way -- I was watching the program, and I told my wife when they noted Crazy Al had his "documentary" nominated, I said "just watch, this is the Hollywood left here, they will CERTAINLY give the award to Chicken Little"...she laughed and said they would not be that stupid....well, we know what happened after that.
Made me sick.

Gore's movie should also get the following awards: Best use of animation to tell a lie...the drowning polar bears scene. Best Sci-Fi film and the Leni Riefenstahl Award for best propaganda film.

Yes! LOL, we've been laughing about it, and shoveling snow!, for weeks. He was scheduled to go to Washington when a major storm hit there (and my area not that far away) and closed down just about everything! I wish he'd stay home so I could put away my snow shovel!

Was there really any doubt that he would win? PUHLEEZE! I am proud to say I havent been in a movie theater in over ten years. Last night I watched Sands of Iwo Jima and Patton. Doesnt get any better than that. Except for maybe some Bon Bons. Just as predictable as the Dixie Chickens winning 5 Grammys. I guess they showed us. /sarcasm
I wouldn't touch one of their C/D's if it was given to me.
I haven't been near a movie theater either since 'Twister'. I watched HGTV instead of the Oscars.
Why would I care about a bunch of self-absorbed, no talent, clueless hypocrites? I don't care what they wear, who they date or what they think about politics. They could all fall off the face of the earth today and I wouldn't miss them.

I can watch "Band of Brothers", "Winds of War", "War and Remembrance" and "Victory at Sea" over and over again - they remind me how great we once were before we voted people who hate our country into government. Overseas they refer to them as communists or marxists, here we call them leftists, mostly modern democrats.

It's not a political issue, it's a moral issue. And it certainly isn't a scientific issue. You have to have that old time religion to believe in what Gore is saying: It's all Hell, Fire and Damnation, d.b.a. Global Warming.
