Waiting to hear from my son at Bagram. Does all communication go down when things like thins happen? E-mail, phonecalls, etc. Haven't heard from him in 5 days or so...

In similar incidents when my son's base was mortared and people killed in Iraq, ALL communications were shut down.
Your son will communicate with you as soon as he can.
I will pray for you in the mean time. I KNOW how you feel right now.
