During an operation in Baghdad, Coalition Forces captured a suspected al-Qaeda in Iraq emir and three of his associates.

I'm so glad that they found him in Baghdad, Iraq, instead of that other Baghdad where Coalition Forces are operating.

Is this "group" actually named "al-Qaeda in Iraq" rather than simply being "al-Qaeda" or is this a vain attempt to raise awareness there are "al-Qaeda" *in* Iraq?

I don't know the answer. However, I suspect they change their name more often than they change their underware.
