Lies of the vigilantes

Slobodan Milosevic was posthumously exonerated on Monday when the international court of justice ruled that Serbia was not responsible for the 1995 massacre at Srebrenica. The former president of Serbia had always argued that neither Yugoslavia nor Serbia had command of the Bosnian Serb army, and this has now been upheld by the world court in The Hague. By implication, Serbia cannot be held responsible for any other war crimes attributed to the Bosnian Serbs.

The allegations against Milosevic over Bosnia and Croatia were cooked up in 2001, two years after an earlier indictment had been issued against him by the separate international criminal tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) at the height of Nato's attack on Yugoslavia in 1999. Notwithstanding the atrocities on all sides in Kosovo, Nato claims that Serbia was pursuing genocide turned out to be war propaganda, so the ICTY prosecutor decided to bolster a weak case by trying to "get" Milosevic for Bosnia as well. It took two years and 300 witnesses, but the prosecution never managed to produce conclusive evidence against its star defendant, and its central case has now been conclusively blown out of the water.

The international court of justice (ICJ) did condemn Serbia on Monday for failing to act to prevent Srebrenica, on the basis that Belgrade failed to use its influence over the Bosnian Serb army. But this is small beer compared to the original allegations. Serbia's innocence of the central charge is reflected in the court's ruling that Serbia should not...

After all these years of anti-serb propaganda try taking the blinders off.....

"Lieutenant General Satish Nambiar of India, who headed the UN mission in Yugoslavia, wrote that "Portraying the Serbs as evil and everybody else as good was not only counterproductive but also dishonest."

"According to my experience," wrote Nambiar, "all sides were guilty but only the Serbs would admit that they were no angels while the others would insist that they were."

I figured that if the globalists were after him he must be innocent. Kind of like Pinochet.

Are we all now relieved that the US never joined this stupid and inept global judicial system?

My view of him was that he was a socialist thug but also a Serbian patriot. When the Mudslimes decided to have Kosovo secede he was in basically the same position as Lincoln was at the beginning of our Civil War and he took the same action. Clinton never had any legitimate reason for bombing Serbia and stopping Slobo in Slobo's effort to keep Kosovo from seceding. Indeed, that just brought the Islamofascists closer to us.

Clinton's assault on Serbia was nothing more than a Wag the Dog.

The entire world knew the truth.

Clinton chose the islamic fundamentalists over our allies.

His column is not about the serbs per se but about letting the UN "abolish" war and set itself up as the negotiating body for all peoples. He then decries the US for its actions as a world policeman, which is the height of irony since the UN created the context for our law enforcement. It is rubbish.
