The Nasdaq is still at a level that is less than half what it was 7 years ago, and Nasdaq company profits today are far bigger than they were 7 years ago.

The Nasdaq is still at a level that is less than half what it was 7 years ago, That's like saying "Compared to 1923 Germany, 20% inflation is really low." True, but trivial.
