Croatia should drop charges (Against Serbia)

ZAGREB -- Legal representative Ivan Šimonović says Croatia should swap charges against FRY for settlement.

“My personal opinion is that if the key claims in the lawsuit can be obtained with an out-of-court settlement, we should not press further with the trial”, said Šimonović, Croatian representative before the International Court of Justice in the Hague.

He said these claims primarily pertained to clearly defining responsibilities for the plight and suffering in Croatia, punishing all who are guilty of committing war crimes, determining the truth about the fate of missing persons and returning Croatia’s cultural treasures.

Croatia filed charges against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1999 before the International Court of Justice in the Hague accusing it of genocide and aggression, which is in part identical to the lawsuit filed by Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The International Court of Justice ruled that Serbia, as the legal successor of FRY, was not guilty of committing genocide in Srebrenica, but was responsible for not doing anything to prevent the killings or punish the perpetrators.

The Crotia's position is an audacity comparable to crapping on someone's doorstep and ringing the bell to ask for a toilet tissue.

In WWII Croatia commited genocide of Serbs on her territory, in 1991-95 expelled the genocide survivors.

It has been said that Croatians are the bravest people on the face of the earth becase they are not ashamed of anything.

The only reason why Croatia would want to drop their suit is because they think that they are going to lose!

Yes, the suit is "identical to Bosnia" because the same law professor idiot who wrote up, Frances Boyle, offered it for free to Croatia!

...by the way, I was the one who also advised Croatia to sue the rump Yugoslavia, explained to them how to do so, and gave them my Bosnian papers free of charge to use towards that end, which they did. Serbia and Montenegro will not be fit to join Europe until it has been De-Nazified. S&M is the Polecat of Europe. fab.

Author of the text of the lawsuit that BiH filed against SCG, professor Francis Boyle, stated that BiH has already won the case, and that it only remains to decide what to do with the verdict. "I suggested BiH authorities to use the lawsuit and verdict for abolishment of RS", said Boyle. He also notes that all arguments are on BiH's side and that International Court of Justice must decide that the RS has to be abolished. In that context, he says the court will take a decision on abolishment of the RS, which will go before the UN Security Council for implementation.

Half true. Genocide can not be comitted against country, only against people.

Check what genocide by attrition means. Croatian sociologist Stipe Suvar (pure Croat) has written that if there was no mass murder and expulsion of Croatian Serbs in WWI, WWII and during 1991-95, there would be 2 million Serbs living in Republic of Croatia today. Find the recent census and find how many Serbs there are in Croatia today.

The policies of WWII Croatia constitute genocide because there was an intent to eliminate Serbs as such in Croatia within 10 years.

Nonsense. Suvar was a communist, and it was communist policy to criminalize the Croatian nation. And there was no genocide of Serbs in Croatia. Your leader ordered your people out. Stop lying like a Muslim and grow up.

Ante Pavelic was Croatian head of state during WWII, not Serrb leader. So were Mile Budak, Stepinac and others.

Croatian sources often use communist sources to smear Serbs ans Nazi collaborators. But when alleged communist cite statistics depicting ustasha deeds, it is smearing of Croatian nation.

You have to make your mind, either you will allow communist inormation, or you will not allow it.

There is ample evidence to Croatian genocide of Serbs from other sources, including Ustashas that it really makes no difference.

"we (ustashas) have murdered more Serbs than Turks did in 500 years" is the most telling.

WWII is in a living memory of genocide survivors. 90 years old grannies who were 40 years old in 1941 and survived WWII were slaughtered on their dorsteps by the grandsons of WWII Ustashas. Serb children who survived WWII Ustasha Jastrebarsko extermination camp were 60-65 years old in 1991-95.

WWII and 1991-95 can not be separated because genocide survivors were slaughtered.
