Where are your family values?

Let me get this straight. You live in the one state that keeps the rest of the Nation busy combating severe leftist-extremist anti-family/Constitutional/individual lawmaking that originates with your state's representatives, and you wonder about my family values? American politics would be almost normal if it weren't for the influence of your state.

If family values mean so much to you, I'd suggest that you pack up and move someplace else.

So - all the people who don't believe in the ideology of the majority should RUN AWAY?

Can I borrow your white flag?

I guess it depends on what you want your children to witness and grow up with on a daily basis. The "do what I say and not what they do" method of parenting is not as effective as other techniques. I presume your quest for "family values" is secondary to other persuits.

Feel free to point your finger at me, if it makes you feel better. Have you been here? Do you know the entire state? I bet not. You probably just know about San Francisco and Hollyweird.
But - you plan to throw the baby out with the dishwater.

I understand that FR was born and raised in California. Perhaps they should run away also?

You are a very interesting character.

I agree. Glad to see it! Somebody mentioned that the epicenter was under the cross display in Lafayette. I think they were kidding, but it seems like a good time to let everyone in the area know that the Move America Forward Cross Country Caravan will be stopping there on March 8 at 10am. If you can, please come by and help us support the troops and give the caravan a good sendoff.

I'm not a crybaby. You take truly trivial things way too seriously.

Now I'll be very serious for a change. California politics really goes a long way to eroding the quality of life throughout the rest of the Nation. It would be wonderful if you people kept your politics as "state" rather that "federal". Honest, most of the issues that irritate the rest of the Nation generally stem from your state. I can assure you that if you'd slide off into the ocean we'd all breathe easier. If you hope to have a better image, just keep your weird ideas within the confines of your very strange society.

I have traveled most of California. While the people are generally nice on the surface, they are all very queasy about most everything. You folks are definitely control freaks. I get the impression that they couldn't function except that the live in the Nanny State. Your hypersensitivity over what I have said just proves this point.

That's ridiculous. You don't know what you're talking about.

I felt bad -- I was in Walnut Creek on business at the time (OK, eating at the all-you-can-eat sushi & chinese place), and didn't feel a thing. I got back to the hotel & people were freaking out about an earthquake. I'm practically ground zero for a 4.2 quake, and I miss it! We don't get too many quakes here in San Antonio...
