Whoa, lotsa Californians gettin' jiggy tonight! :)
Too bad it wasn't in Hollywood.
Before the earthquake it was on the bookcase. After the earthquake it was on the floor. Glass all over the place. I suspect gravity or colonel mustard in the library did it.
Was it felt in Indianapolis?
Come on ... that one shook you up?
How long have you lived in the Bay Area? ;-)
(I confess - I have been here off and on since '47 and have been thru enough as a child that they just make me curious now) and I do have emergency supplies in the garage in a trash can painted orange. Recycle them every few years ... water, canned food, pet food, medical kit, etc.
Heh, bite your tongue. Southern California needs no earthquakes, not even tiny ones.
Wise guy. Pittsboro, Plainfield, Brownsburg, even Carmel maybe but not Indianapolis.
So glad I don't live in Fremont any more.

CALIFORNIA TUMBLES INTO THE SEA!
My daughter and I were just talking the other day about how she's never felt a real quake. She's ten.
jinx.. knock on wood.
Okay. That was the only Lafeyette I knew of. :-)
"water, canned food, pet food, medical kit, etc."
Same in the trunk of my car that I park outside the garage and travel with.
"Be Prepared" and hope you never need it.
If you choose to live in an active earthquake zone - this will dispell your jitters when one hits.
If you have a family - do an earthquake drill a couple times a year - it dosn't have to be elaborate - just a reminder to the kids where stuff is.
I love my Cub/Boy Scout and US Military training - best things I ever did.
Yikes, let's hope she never experiences anything bigger than a 5.0.
Just got in and as usual checked my USGS list first.
Ya'll just had a rump rumbler last week in Berkley.
I can't remember who the thread starter was but I will read this thread see if he/she pops up.
Gettin' shakey around there you guys.
Run, Duck and cover? or something like that.
Hey it's almost the 20th year anniversary of the last big one ya'll had (I was there then moved to Oregon).
Didn't feel it in the Sacramento area.
Wow felt it Antioch.
Poor thing. Living in Antioch.
