I saw Tom live. Not a great speech. I love him, he's a great conservative across the board, but he was tentative, apologetic and unsure of himself when it comes to running for President.
I did really appreciate his points about this awful hyphenated-conservatism so many of these candidates seem to be pushing.

You're right. Tancredo really nailed it on the Ramos and Compean part, and his speech in words is great, but he delivers it only slightly better than I would. He's not a good public speaker, and sadly that counts now.
The standing ovation when he came in was nice to see though.
