Really?

Rudy wants to fight the WOT; Hillary want to bring ALL of the troops home the day she is inaugurated.

Rudy wants to cut your taxes; Hillary want even MORE of your money, since YOU don't know how to spend it correctly.

I could easily go on and prove you wrong, but I won't bother, because obviously, facts don't matter to you at all.

in fairness, Bush43 has done the most. two very good SCOTUS nominations. Reagan did well with the lower court appointments, but appointed two pro-Roe justices (out of 3) to the Court. Bush41 was 1 for 2.

the socons also need to realize they aren't going to be able to do anything (federally) to stop gay civil unions in the States. and if Roe is overturned someday (as it should be, on constitutional grounds) - my own prediction is that no state would vote to outlaw abortion for adult women in the first 12 weeks.

What kind of a question is that asking me if your parents are less of a Christian because they live in CA? How could I know that? It's a trick question and I wouldn't presume to know the answer to such a ridiculous question. Do your parent support Rudy? If so, fine, I have no beef with anyone who wants to support Rudy. Where I have issues is when people try to tell us that Rudy is the only one who is capable of winning the election on the republican side. Not true. He may possibly win the election, but you can be sure that there are enough evangelical conservatives and Jim Robinson conservatives who aren't going to support Rudy. I'm not saying Jim himself would not ultimately vote for Rudy if he is nominated, I don't know that Jim has said one way or the other. But there are many here on FR and evangelical Christians who would sit it out or vote third party. So how does that help Rudy get elected when a good percentage of the republican base isn't going to support him?

Rudy wants to fight the WOT
However, as a February 2007 New York Times article pointed out, "Mr. Giuliani has been alone [among Republican candidates] in saying that such a strategy may not succeed, potentially providing him cover should the situation in Iraq deteriorate further. And he has put the strategy in a broader context that plays down the importance of Iraq."

["No he wasn't. The Iowa tracking polls showed Kerry surging to #1 five days prior..."]

Well... it's a bit more than 5 days from voting, now, isn't it? What did the polls show one YEAR before the voting?

Rudy wants to cut your taxes

THE WASHINGTON TIMES
February 22, 2007

The two front-runners for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination -- Arizona Sen. John McCain and former New York Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani -- have not signed an anti-tax-increase pledge that has been embraced by several of their rivals.

John Kerry and Joe Lieberman in the lead.

I'm not sure if he will even be nominated...and I honestly didn't know what you meant by Hearland Christians vs left coast Christians....I like Rudy for some things and don't like him for others....I also don't like the "true conservatives" that I feel lost the last election for us with corruption and fraud....being a great conservative did not help George Allen or Rick Santorum on bit....and that is a shame....

I wonder if George Washington, Thomas Jefferson or Benjamin Franklin would have a chance today with the Christian right? Personally, I'm looking for a patriot not a saint.

Great...quote the Slimes. LOL

Hunter was head of the House Committee for military affairs, It was under HIS watch that the Vets got put into substandard facilities after leaving Walter Reed. It was under HIS watch, that stuff going to Iraq and Afghanistan was sub par. And considering that otherwise he has only been a backbencher, with no real real life executive experience, and some shady dealings to boot, he hasn't a prayer, in the primaries; if he lasts that long.

The "milestone" was a group of militant homosexuals waging war on vice cops because they raided an illegal, mobbed-up, drug-filled gay club that doubled as a house of prostitution with a menu of underage boys. Rebellion, my ass. It was a planned riot. An all-out assault on the NYPD by drug dealers and pimps.

And this is something America's Mayor saw fit to celebrate. That's beautiful.
