I wouldn't exactly put PKM down as a conservative evangelical Christian, of course she'll disagree with me no doubt. Our democrat governor is far more conservative than Rudy.
Let's Make a Deal - Social conservatives, Rudy Giuliani, and the end of the litmus test.

"The deal in the works has been carefully crafted to make sure that no one loses too much. Conservatives would be getting a pro-choice nominee, but one who would not push a pro-choice agenda, and one who would give them (as far as presidents can be sure in these matters) the kind of judges they long for."
You want Rooty to drown? Interesting prediction -- it could happen.
However, I predict Duncan Hunter will drop out before the Iowa Caucuses. Not enough $$$$
Looking at this Newsweek poll finding again, you can't even claim to be in the majority among social conservatives...you're somewhere among the 26%.
It means his campaign will be gasping for air.
He needs to continue his career as an effective member of the House of Representatives.
yes, I read that one.
There is more then meets the eye to this Ted Olson thing. its not just because "they are friends", its a signal.
unfortunately, the people who are supposed to see that signal are too busy posting pictures of Rudy wearing a dress for the 3000th time, to notice it.
Hunter's campaign will have no pulse by next January.
I'm not claiming she's a conservative evangelical, but her husband has been taking an informal poll among evangelicals he knows and works with. I'll let her speak to what he's finding.
Never said that. You are twisting and spinning. I thought only liberals did that, no?
Are those the guys/gals/things in the speedos marching to support him in Gay "Pride" parades?
He probably won't but after the way he is being treated, I wouldn't blame him , if he went Independent.
I hope you Rudy tooties are prepared for the media onslaught that will attempt to drive a mega wedge between RG and the Conservatives should Rudy win the primaries. The contentious issues will likely shutdown good portions of the vital Conservative vote.
Oh, Hunter will use this exposure to run for state-wide office in 2010. This is what his 2008 campaign is all about and mission accomplished.
...I asked a question of you. Spinning and twisting are taking facts and distorting them....I'm asking what you meant by that.....only a question...not an accusation...
An informal poll that you obviously will give great credence to, just like you give to the Newsweek poll. No thanks, I think I pass on that. Interesting that you are touting the Newsweek poll to make your point. Since when did we start believing everything the MSM printed? Guess when it's to your advantage you don't have a problem with it, eh?
Gosh, I feel just like poor Diogenes.
I will not sacrifice my ethics to vote for someone just because they have the Republican label next to their name.
EXACTLY!
And end up like Bob Smith? No, Hunter does not seem like a cry-baby like Al Gore when he loses.
But.... Could someone please tell me in the past 37 years what a Republican president has done on social issues? I am having a hard time finding anything of substance since LBJ's Great Society that no repub ever tried to change.
So please someone tell me something... really... I mean it...What has changed????
Social Issues be damned if we are attacked again.
All you "I will stay at home first" voters need to rethink what life would be like under Hitlery...
h mmm socialized medicine... the common good... read the manifesto and you might get the idea...Maybe if I equated the Beast to the Anti-Christ you guys might get it!
Nah, you will just continue to spew hatred toward Rudy all the way to ballot box when you vote for the beast.. "oh you aren't voting?" Chalk one more up for the beast!!!!
