That seems to be what Harwood and Robinson were hoping for this morning. It kind of struck me how dismissive they were of the fact that McInsane is doing so poorly in the polls. All of a sudden, the polls didn't really mean anything because it's so early (I happen to agree with that, but I also think there is a strong indication that Republicans do NOT WANT McCain). They are confident he will rebound.
They have so much bad stuff on mccain they are praying he will be the Candidate. Mccain is slyly visiting lots of Military venues with both Present and Past Military Men and Women. That is one of the reasons why he had to quickly correct himself after he clumsily stepped on his own "privates" when he said that the War on Terror KIA were lives wasted instead of sacrificed.
Sadly, Bahbah, McCain thinks he is a good position as he has Mitt on his right and Giuliani on his left.
But Glenn Reynolds noted yesterday that it appears that the McCain campaign is crumbling (I would be very happy if this were true).
