The only good (and smart) thing Arlen Spector ever did in his entire Senate career was to champion Clarence Thomas.

Did he? I guess it must of been before he became deranged. I know that John Danforth of MO was also a very strong supporter of Justice Thomas. I've read bits and pieces of some of his decisions, and from what I've seen, the man is a genius, nothing even close to some of what the MSM has written about his and his decisions.

John Danforth was his main "sponsor" and sat with his wife during the hearings. What Spector did was help to discredit Anita Hill with his questioning of her. I will never forget those hearings because they were the first ones I really paid attention to since I discovered Rush and began to attend the EIB School of Advanced Conservative Studies.
