When Patrick gave that answer, I laughed out loud. The dems in Massachusetts don't even bother faking it anymore, they let their contempt for us pour out.
My liberal girlfriend is a Texan living in MA, btw.
So true.
Except this isn't funny. A felon "jokes" about Howie being done in. Said felon has ties to someone who has a brother who is a felon on the run, who was responsible for at least 21 murders.
Howie is not an alarmist.
Is she from Austin -- or a UTA student?
BTW, Howie and the BSO/POPS make up most of my very short of things I really miss about MA...
Your Honor, I would like to put the following sound cut in as evidence.

I actually saw this late last night, about 1:30 am, when they had posted it to the site.
The Scotto bloggo is still out there and he still may be living in the Boston area. The following is a post on
radio-info.com Boston board:
"Last week, the website universalhub.com ran a comment by Scott Allen Miller referring to the actual location of a J. J. Foley's pub. This indicates to me that Scott is still in the Boston area. Could it be that Entercom struck a deal with Miller that if he kept quiet about the Finneran hiring during Scott's last few weeks on WRKO, they'd pay him a stipend to hang around if the Finneran Forum didn't work out, clearing the way for Scott to return to WRKO in his old time slot?"
Who knows, but I wonder if maybe they're relishing the attention--bad publicity though it is--that this is getting.
"Say what you want about me but get my name--or the call
letters--right..."
Of course FelonMan is a criminal and he gets rewarded with a plum WRKO gig, morning drive!
>>This is NOT good for box office, OR for ratings; it sends ALL the wrong messages
There is an effort to pressure WRKO to drop him, run by
Matt Margolis (local blogger) and Brian "Radio Equalizer"
Maloney:

They are asking people contact the sponsors. btw one reason DePetro was let go was because some sponsors like Harvard
Pilgrim Health Care were upset.
>>What Finneran said about Howie, was a thinly veiled threat. It wasn't a joke, if this man had the ability to, he would bury Howie, because Howie has told the truth about "Tommy Taxes" for years and Finneran hates him for doing so.
I think in many ways Howie is doing this tongue in cheek but you do have a point and we'll hear the next chapter in
this saga around 3:07 pm today or so! :)
:-) I will have to wait until I get home this evening to listen. Thanks, for the ping, raccoonradio!
I can't believe that even Finneran is that stupid.
Note: You'll have to tune to Howie online to hear the start of his show today. They have a Red Sox exhibition game on
instead (started at 1 pm). Same with WCRN!
Thanks, raccoonradio!
I'm at work until at least 5pm, so I won't have an issue, but I am sure that other FReepers will be glad of the update.
I believe she's from outside Dallas, will have to get back to you.
He is also in a good position to end up dead, that is why this veiled threat is so serious. Beleive me, it WASN'T a joke.
I believe you. I read The Brothers Bulger
