"They didn't vote for Bush and he got in without them. "
Bush lost in PA though. And if a RATS candidate for president loses in PA, and NJ (where Rudy is currently leading by 9 points) they are in big trouble.

I am concerned that Hillary could take the northeastern states by choosing Ed Rendell as her running mate. In a way it would ironic that Hillary needed to do that in order to win states that are blue(s). I'm not so sure that Hillary will be the dem candidate, though. She is blowing her lead at the moment and if she gets behind Obama - I'm not sure she will recover.

"and the fake southern accent."
That was just so hilarious.
I am still laughing about it.

The way it looks now Hillary will lose to Obama - she either has to find something on him that is scandalous or maybe grab the Hispanic and black vote.

"To not understand the electorate is to say that you don't want to be effective in politics."
And failing to understand that the conservative, pro-gun south is now the anchor of the GOP's electoral college strategy is a recipe for disaster.

hopeful that "looking for moderation" will include scrutinizing Sestak for his embrace of the extremists of CAIR.

There are as many people who hate her as love her. And she is so strident and shrill. I'm sure the Clinton attack machine will try to destroy Obama - but, hey, if the dems start beating each other up - it will be fun to watch(s).

"The left wants to vote for them, the right will have to!" You laugh! But it seems that this is the political strategy of a lot of Guiliani supporters today.

one of the Senate's finest conservatives
I was one of those who helped get rid of this "fine conservative" who supported a hike in minimum wage and proposed sending more taxpayer money over to Africa.
Being against abortion doesn't automatically make you a conservative. The guy who won the election against him is against abortion.

"Real Clear Politics is NOT MSM"
But, but, but...it doesn't support the current FR groupthink so it cannot be credible!!

BUT..BUT..BUT He likes gays and stuff..............sarcasm LOL Being anti-gay is a losing position for the GOP. Being pro-life is a positive position. There is beauty in that position. Hating and ridiculing gays like Ann Coulter just did - is a loser.

"Is Lincoln Chafee available for the Veep slot???"
If Rooty Tootie gets the nomination Sara Brady has a lock on the VP slot.

Pennsylvania is really two states: Philadelphia its suburbs anb the rest of the state. True, true... when I lived there the suburbs were still conservatives but then all of the refugees from Philadelphia who screwed that city up had moved out here and then began ruining things for the rest of us.
Politically though Penna. is a lost cause for Republicans. Not a single cent of advertising money should be spent there and no Republican candidate should waste a single minute of campaign time there. Republicans can win nationally without Penna. so resources would better be concentrated on shoring up borderline red states instead of blue states.
