And congress & the enviro-wacko won't let us get anywhere near it, in fear of that we might use it to make money for ourselves and not share with the rest of the world...

It's not necessarily about making money for ourselves. I consider it more of an energy independency issue.

This would put Earth out of balance and contribute to man made axial and orbital oscillations.

So GlobalWarming is a BoshCo/BigOil/Industrrial-Military Complex to melt the polar caps and get at it?

Who wants 3-1 odds the TinFoiler/DUmmies or KOSmunists will float this theory?

*Notice* - To potential odds takers, this is a hypothetical wager using fictional widget dollars and is not intended to imply actual tender currencies will be exchanged. Please consult your fictional widget dollars adviser before making any investments.

Putting on my swami turban, I predict an avalanche of gas and 'belching' jokes.

"You can get a lot of gas out of it at once," he said.

And the same can be said of my brother-in-law. We're not afraid for the global environment, we're very afraid for the immediate local environment.:)

Methane hydrates have been pegged as one possible reason for all the disappearances in the Bermuda triangle.

If we have a rapid release of a major deposit of methane hydrates, it could be a very serious global scale disaster. This is a good time to proceed with great caution.

Who needs hydrogen cars, methane could work.

"Deep Sea, Arctic May Hold World's Largest Fuel Supply, Experts Say"

We may as well allow the Canadians to harvest these Methane Hydrates since Canada is afterall closer to the Arctic Ocean than the United States.

The U.S. gave Cuba the right to drill our oil right off the coast of Florida and we wonder why we have energy and terrorist problems.I fail to mention supporting the terrorist supporting dictators who provide us with our energy needs.

The U.S. needs to get with the program.

No need to buy a new one. Just turn your 'S' around.
