I agree. At my age (40) I don't really give a damn about convincing anyone else, that's why I can read the Rudy threads with interest and amazement at what people will do to make an attempt at influence.

I look around me and see many people who like to bitch about things, but can't answer basic questions about their federal government. They have no clue how good their life is, or who they owe that to, or what they should do to ensure it continues for future generations.

same here....i couldn't imagine someone in the republican party spinning that way just 10 years ago...it is amazing isn't it? Ya just gotta laugh and go on...at least that what i tell myself :D
