3rd Annual Abortionist of the year Awards (Barf Alert)
WorldNetDaily ^ | March 7, 2007 | Jill Stanek

Posted on 03/08/2007 1:30:58 PM PST by Pinkbell

I'm so excited! The National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers is just three days away – Saturday, March 10!

We will not likely get to celebrate this unholiest of unholy days with the actual dirty deed doers themselves, since I anticipate their inspirational work ethic will compel them to labor (pardon the pun) on coincidentally the most profitable day of their week.

But we can certainly show our support through the sincerest form of flattery, imitation, except … hmm … there's not much to imitate that won't get us thrown in prison. Well, at least we can wear red!

And, of course, we can all laud together the Third Annual Abortionist of the Year!

Before I name that person, I must confess it was difficult to dredge up nominees for this year's prize, called the Malachi Award for the dismembered baby found frozen in a jar at a Dallas abortion mill in 1993. This award is unique in that it comes in pieces conveniently packaged in a red biohazard bag.

Our selection process was particularly arduous this year thanks to our cumbersome requirement that winners have valid medical licenses and not be convicted felons.

Yes, we lost an alarming number of shop choppers to arrest or license revocation during the past 12 months.

Oh dear, and we were already scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Take Reffat Kamel Abofreka of Virginia, for instance, who would have made a spectacular nominee had he not lost his license last April for botching a couple of abortions, then shooing the mothers off to the hospital ER without making arrangements.

We were sorry to learn 82-year-old former abortionist Richard Leigh of Grand Forks (how appropriate!), N.D., lost his license in December for defrauding Medicare, the dear old buzzard.

We were proud California abortionist Laurence Reich managed to avoid license revocation for six years (!) after complaints were filed for sexually molesting patients. But last April his legal options sadly petered out.

On the bright side, New Jersey abortionist Flavius Thompson deserves honorable mention for completing court intervention to learn how not to flush aborted babies into the sewer system so he could have his medical license reinstated in May!

But that news was tempered by a rash of abortion mill closures. We worry about the health and safety of women if all the front alley abortion mills are shut down due to health and safety violations!

Thank goodness Summit Medical Center in Birmingham, Ala., voluntarily surrendered its license last June rather than allow an investigation of its premises. Lord knows what right-wing health inspectors would have found.

Biased state officials indeed closed A Gynecologists Diagnostic Center in Hialeah, Fla., last summer after a baby was allegedly aborted alive, killed and then hidden from police on the mill's roof for nine days. Would you believe an anonymous inside tipster led police to the body? It is hard to fathom an abortion worker with a conscience exists.

But the industry received its most serious blow only last week when the New Jersey Health Department closed Metropolitan Medical Associates after a mother who aborted there suffered massive hemorrhaging resulting in a stroke and month-long coma. Investigators found the mill had serious infectious control issues, which really shouldn't surprise anyone since it killed 10,000 babies a year. Consider the logistics of maintaining cleanliness with all those dead bodies.

Look at this. I have used so much space lamenting the abortion industry's woes I barely have room left to announce this year's Abortionist of the Year! And so, without further adieu … drum roll, please …

We are proud to announce, from a pack of worthy contenders, the 2007 Abortionist of the Year is Wichita, Kansas' own late-term abortionist extraordinaire, George "the Killer" Tiller!

Let us list Tiller the Killer's most notable accomplishments!

Although it is illegal in Kansas to commit abortions after 22 weeks unless a mother's life is endangered or she will suffer substantial and irreversible harm to a major bodily function, our man Tiller devised a way to report the aforementioned without the aforementioned being true!

Incredibly, Tiller also devised a way to state on mandated reports that post-viability babies he aborts are not viable!

Tiller reports his secret is to spread abortion blood money so thickly among politicians that there is allegedly nary a one with prosecutorial influence he has not bought off!

What a genius! Congratulations, Tiller; you are an inspiration to all abortionists!

Happy National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers to all!

Tiller the Killer? He was almost a convicted felon. I guess the vilest of the vile is the hero for the rest to look up to. The feminazis cheer.

To eliminate any confusion as it is not noted above, the author of this article is Jill Stanek, so the barf alert would refer to abortionists paying homage to themselves for slaughter:

Jill Stanek fought to stop "live-birth abortion" after witnessing one as a registered nurse at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Ill. In 2002, President Bush asked Jill to attend his signing of the Born Alive Infants Protection Act. In January 2003, World Magazine named Jill one of the 30 most prominent pro-life leaders of the past 30 years. To learn more, visit Jill's blog, Pro-life Pulse.

3rd Annual Abortionist of the year Awards (Barf Alert)

Point of order: "Barf Alert" is applicable only when the article is written from and/or praising the liberal point of view.

I think I will take a pass on the celebration of death & murder...

Instead, I will celebrate life this weekend. Particularly, my daughters birth (she turns 2 on Sunday). She was not planned, but by no means would I ever consider her an "accident" or something to be disposed of.

Happy Birthday, baby!!

I think Tiller would get this award. What a way for people and posterity to remember these great feats.

The DNC should get the award for getting into power over the dead bodies of babies. May their disgusting deeds follow them after this life.

Thank you kindly...

She is my second (my oldest will be 4 in May).

As a father, I have never understood how someone can think about their unborn child as something other than a wonderful gift. Truly the "miracle of life"!

Sorry. I knew it was sarcasm. My "Barf Alert" was referencing the fact that they would actually have an award for these killers every year. I thought the article itself was a good piece.

Happy Birthday to your daughter. God Bless you for not aborting your unplanned pregnancy! They are so cute at that age, although some kids get a bit of the terrible twos. :)

Oh, no worries. I surmised such after reading your comment in #1, but I figured I'd mention it anyway since I saw that Jill Stanek was the author, and she's definitely on our side: Pro-Life.

I would have nominated Florida's own Pendergraft ,,, I believe he is a viable candidate! wasn't his extortion conviction from a few years back pardoned/dismissed or somehow deleted from the court records? Of course he did just have his license suspended last October for aborting 3rd trimester babies outside of an actual hospital in violation of Florida law (and "doctoring" his interpertations of the ultrasounds to get the gestational age back down into the 2nd trimester) but that doesn't seem to have stopped him as he was in hot water just about a month ago over a "patient" of his accidentally gave live birth and delivering the dying infant to the clinic in a plastic trash bag... funny the law enforcement/security officer (Orlando PD) paid by the clinic "saw nothing" in the best traditions of sgt. Schultz and there is no investigation into either

1.) Why does he have "patients" when his license is STILL suspended and
2.) Why isn't he up on charges for not providing emergency medical care to the dying baby.

Abortion is not about saving women’s lives!

Studies Find Abortions Have Long-Term Effects

45,951,133

Total Abortions since 1973

------------------------------------------------------------

Why the drop after 1960? (in deaths of women from illegal abortions)

The reasons were new and better antibiotics, better surgery and the establishment of intensive care units in hospitals. This was in the face of a rising population. Between 1967 and 1970 sixteen states legalized abortion. In most it was limited, only for rape, incest and severe fetal handicap (life of mother was legal in all states). There were two big exceptions — California in 1967, and New York in 1970 allowed abortion on demand. Now look at the chart carefully.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Abortion Statistics - Decision to Have an Abortion (U.S.)

· 25.5% of women deciding to have an abortion want to postpone childbearing

· 21.3% of women cannot afford a baby

· 14.1% of women have a relationship issue or their partner does not want a child

· 12.2% of women are too young (their parents or others object to the pregnancy)

· 10.8% of women feel a child will disrupt their education or career

· 7.9% of women want no (more) children

· 3.3% of women have an abortion due to a risk to fetal health

2.8% of women have an abortion due to a risk to maternal health

----------------------------------------------------------------------

So how many women’s lives have been saved by abortion?

Only about 3% of abortions since 1972 were reported to be “due to a risk to maternal health.” A reasonable person would recognize that not all of those cases represent a lethal risk. But let’s say they did. That means that nearly 45 million fetuses were butchered to save the lives of about 1.3 million women. Or put another way; 35 babies are killed to save each woman.

Abortion was legal in all 50 states prior to Roe v. Wade in cases of danger to the life of the woman.
