I like plastic bags. They fit my kitchen trash can. Sometimes, when the bags run low, I go to the supermarket and buy some items and bag them myself. You would be surprized at how many bags it takes to bring home the groceries.

Paper bags are harder to handle. I can carry four plastic bags packed with groceries with one hand. Try doing that with paper. And, every single one goes to the recycle plastic bag bin at my grocery store. What is so hard about plastic bag recycling?

However stupid this is, paper bags are better. I'd rather go with plastic. I can carry multiple bags in at a time. Plus they're good for bathroom wastebaskets.
