However stupid this is, paper bags are better. We need to find a use for the lousy trees the government is growing so that the USFS can start over.

I like plastic bags. They fit my kitchen trash can. Sometimes, when the bags run low, I go to the supermarket and buy some items and bag them myself. You would be surprized at how many bags it takes to bring home the groceries.

Can't use the trees. Those are Algore's carbon credit offsets.

At least with paper bags the sackers didn't put one item in each bag.

Paper bags are harder to handle. I can carry four plastic bags packed with groceries with one hand. Try doing that with paper. And, every single one goes to the recycle plastic bag bin at my grocery store. What is so hard about plastic bag recycling?

I'd rather go with plastic. I can carry multiple bags in at a time. Plus they're good for bathroom wastebaskets.
