I came home from work and this stranger had broken into my home. He was in my kitchen rooting thru my stuff and was upset I did't have more cash and better food. I tried to get the cops to come and kick him out but they refused. When I tried to build a fence around my yard my neighbors said I was being racist and crooks would simply use ladders to break in. Finally I did what I could to get the guy out of my house and now I'm getting criticism for how I treated him.....Welcome to bizarro world.
Here in the deep, deep South where I live, you would have been justified in blowing that guy away. Period. And except for the perp's relatives, everyone else would have applauded your actions.
By the way, I spent my first 18 years in Weymouth, MA. Glad I got out.
