March 9, 2007 -- RITA Cosby sounds less raspy following recent vocal-cord surgery, but MSNBC is still going to drop her when her contract expires on April 1. The cable network had no comment, but insiders insist the host, who has been diligently covering the Anna Nicole Smith story, is out. Cosby has been presenting daytime specials since MSNBC canceled her prime-time show, "Live & Direct," last summer.

I caught the tail end of one of those E!-type gossip tabliod programs on the TV a couple of days ago.
IIRC, it said that Cosby was stiffed by MSNBC bigshots or something similar related to a big ta-do at the Playboy Mansion or some such gossip. Anyway, the gist was that Cosby didn't get an invite to the affair, even though she was expecting one.
FNC was smart to let "Breathless" go. I still laugh at her reporting the Supreme Court decision in Bush v. Gore (2000). She read it to understand that Gore won the case. Priceless!

The few times that I have seen this woman, I kept saying that she must have some sort of medical issue. That said, there's nothing else in the story that I really care about.
