Well the guy who already has proven quality leadership during our countries darkest hours.

Weve elected a president before who didnt have the tidiest personal life and it was because of his governing style, the strategist said, referring to Reagan.
Every time a Rudy apologist compares him to Ronald Reagan a Democrat gets a government handout.

(People are crossing party lines to support Giuliani - even some Republicans support him.)
To: Reagan Man
On the national stage people know him [Rudy] for two things right now cleaning up New York City and September 11th, observed an aide to Sen. John McCain. McCain is known for two things on the national stage as well:
McCain-Feingold
McCain-Kennedy
.....and that's why he'll never get the GOP nomination.

He is pro-choice, he is pro-gay marriage, and anti-gun. That's a tough combination in a Republican primary."
With these stands, how in the world is he in the running? Three marriages??? Shacking up with his girlfriend while his wife and him still live together??? Holy mackeral what about crappy judgement? not exactly an example for the youth of today. Let him stay in new york as governor or something, because we in the south any buyin'.

....damn, you are so right....Reagan actually signed an abortion bill as Gov and granted amnesty to illegals..Rudy hasn't done that yet....Reagan would be called a RINO on FR if he were alive today during certain times in office...

"whats wrong with being pro-immigration??? Isn't that what we were founded on??"
The problem is with rudy, like all other liberals, talk about the immigration debate.
To cloud the issues, they don't use terms like 'illegal aliens' to refer to the lawbreakers. Instead they try to lump legal and illegal immigrants with the blanket term "immigrants" so their defenders can say "What kind of nut is against immigration!!"
The record is another thing. Rudy is pro mccain/ kennedy amnesty, and fought the feds all the way to the supreme court (and lost) in order to maintain NY as a sanctuary city for illegal aliens.

Bill O'Reilly was talking about this yesterday. I think that this article much either be straight from the NYT or part of the Democrat talking points because the statements sound exactly the same. O'Reilly said that the Democrats were working hard to try to knock down Rudy's numbers because he is right now, the only Republican who would beat Hillary.

Ronald Reagan was NOT supporting abortion when he was running for President on the Republican ticket.
AND he admitted the abortion bill he signed in 1967 (13 years before the 1980 election) was a mistake.

Yes, People like Carbonetti has his own family that Rooty had to give jobs. BTW...Carbonetti is also Rooty's business partner.

Its good to get this stuff out of the way early. If he handles it gracefully it won't hurt him. If it exposes glaring weaknesses in his vote-getting ability, the better to know it early than late. I think he former is more likely than the latter.

......I know and understand....abortion was not the issue then....amnesty was not all that big a deal as much as now but he still did it.......some of us like Rudy for what he is and not for what he isnt'....for the record....I'd prefer Duncan Hunter but if he can't get things going, I'd vote for Rudy.....because my priorities are fiscal and WOT....not social issues, but I don't bash anyone who thinks social issues are more important......
To: Eva
Nonsense. Jonathan Martin wrote about politics for The Hotline and National Review. Martin is no liberal and doesn't spew Democrat talking points.
The media is bound to get around to exposing Rudy for the liberal-RINO he is. That will help reveal Rudy`s lifetime of support for liberal issue and liberal causes.
Frankly, having Rudy as the GOP standard bearer would be a cruel joke on conservatives.

LOL... I can take Mitt and Duncan getting excited about vetting Rudy, but if McStain thinks anything is going to help him, he is even more psychotic than I thought.
