Rudy Giuliani: "There isn't a mayor or a public official in this country that's more strongly pro immigrant than I am. Including disagreeing with President Clinton when he signed an anti-immigration legislation about two or three years ago."

whats wrong with being pro-immigration??? Isn't that what we were founded on??

now the illegals ... yeah they gotta go!

Sorry, I didn't give you the proper context of that quote. It was in regard to illegal aliens in NYC. I will try to find a link.

The problem is with rudy, like all other liberals, talk about the immigration debate.

To cloud the issues, they don't use terms like 'illegal aliens' to refer to the lawbreakers. Instead they try to lump legal and illegal immigrants with the blanket term "immigrants" so their defenders can say "What kind of nut is against immigration!!"

The record is another thing. Rudy is pro mccain/ kennedy amnesty, and fought the feds all the way to the supreme court (and lost) in order to maintain NY as a sanctuary city for illegal aliens.
