Free speech is great. But the are consequences for saying something particularly stupid. She's notorious for her "Shock value", sometimes those who get a kick out of being shocking get a kick in the ass, deservedly so. Nobody can take away her right to say whatever she wants, but the response to her remarks is also free speech.
She does own this issue and she's paying for it. She's a big girl and she will survive with or without me.
Personally the word has become increasingly distatefull to me as I've grown older.
