I can see it's just killing the increasingly irrelevant ragers that Newt and now Santorum have praised Rudy and talked about how he governed as a conservative. ROFL

Duncan Hunter has zero chance of getting the nod. LESS than zero. But I would not dream of spamming every thread about him with the same crap, ad nauseum. These people need to grow up.

Not all...they tend to try and ignore Hunters big spending votes and his close link to the Randy Cunningham fiasco.

Yep...

They are freaking out at Rudy's frontrunner status and it will only get worse as time goes on.

You'll likley not ever see a true conservative in the WH again....You can thank the incompetent over his head bumbling stumbling idiot that now presides there now, for that.
Rudy is the only shot we have at the WH.
Rudy knows how to lead the whole country not just some bible thumpers from KY.

I went on a Hunter thrad to ask a question and a few times to ish him luck but like you, I wouldn't dream of going on a Hunter thread and posting links to Rudy's frontrunner status.

It's immature and the freepers involved in doing it don't even have the good sense to know what fools they look like.

In the primaries I will vote for the candidate that promises to STOP illegal immigration and to WIN in Iraq.

Those two issues are so far above in importance that every other issue appears as specks to the eye of the EAGLE that soars the mountains of this land.

Time will tell. :)

All the magazine covers in the world aren't going to get Rudy the nomination. But continued coverage of the truth of his positions will most certainly prevent that nomination.

Your horse may not yet be dead, but that is it's inevitable fate.

Kind of makes me wonder about the Duncanites. They spend all their time on Guliani and Romney threads.

Just yesterday I noticed how at one point there were four Guliani threads each with hundreds of hits, and two Hunter threads each with about 20 hits (by about six-seven people). The Duncanites are too busy to support their own threads.

There was one Duncan thread last night that was different...where his big spending voting record was revealed and a lot of interesting things came out about his penchant for fat envelopes of money from defense contractors.

Indeed, in one recent poll, majorities of Republicans who were informed of Giuliani’s views on social issues said that they were either minor issues or no issues at all; only 16% said that they wouldn't vote for him after being informed of these views.

In the online GOP Bloggers poll, Giuliani is consistently one of the few candidates to end up with a net positive acceptability rating. These internet denizens are well-informed, and overwhelmingly self-describe as conservative (78% self-describe as 7 or higher on a 10-scale of conservatism). If these people can support Rudy, anyone can.

Human Events, Is Giuliani the Republican Peyton Manning,

Apparently to some, free speech does not emcompass allowing a debate which includes the GOP (and overall) frontrunner.

Who has prevented you from such debate?

Name one person. Just one.

Giuliani-Santorum 2008?

I guess that would make Santorum a commie RINO!

How can the gun-controlling, abortion-supporting, gay-friendly Rudy Giuliani be 25 percentage points ahead of John McCain, his nearest GOP presidential competitor, in the latest Newsweek poll?

Answer: Contrary to popular belief, evangelicals (who comprise the party's base) are fully capable of chewing gum and voting at the same time.

No, evangelicals haven't abandoned the faith-based domestic agenda that brought them to the polls for Bush in 2004. But, in wartime, they have other concerns as well.

"It appears to me that Rudy is going aggressively after the conservative vote,"

He hssn't gone after it at all yet.

To my astonishment, frankly.

There are no absolutes in politics. It ebbs and flows. One event can radically alter the landscape, as 9-11 did for Rudy. And I think history will treat GWB much kinder than your post gives him credit for.

Have you ever noticed the common element between the favorites of a certain segment of FR?

Take a good look at photos of Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo. Don't they both look like the guy who sold your aunt that used Chevy lemon?

There is no et tu. Santorum is saying Giuliani is doing a good job shopping for the conservative vote. That is all that is said here.

>>>>Santorum said that Rudy governed as a conservative?

No, Santorum said Rudy does a good job REMINDING people he governed as a conservative.

There is a difference in that statement.
